The first post by a Texas fan in this thread actually applauded the kid for overcoming obstacles in his life and turning it into a great high school career that put himself in a position to go play big time college football and get a higher education.

I guess to a degree you are right: my comment on this thread was based on reality that can be easily verified by scrolling a few posts above. Your comment on the Simmons thread was an assumption based on you being salty that he didn't want to go to your school.
Sorry for ruining your weekend by pointing out your hypocrisy. If I really wanted to troll I would've pointed out that delusion and hypocrisy are the only way an aggie could function through life knowing they couldn't attend Texas while having to watch said school outperform them across the board in everything. Coupled with the fact that every aggie on this board will live and die, just like their fathers did, without seeing a&m even play for a national title in a men's major sport.

We have lost some head to heads recently. We finally get one. I want to comment on something related but not to this commitment. A couple of years ago my beloved school signed the best rated class of all time. We took some 5 stars with red flags. Texas quietly signed the greatest offensive line class of all time that same cycle. Now those guys all turned into starters and are living up to the ratings. I’m not going to admit Coach Sark knew Texas was leaving the B12 and joining the SEC. But he damn sure recruited like he knew.

That class signed in late 2021 or early 2022, after it was already announced that we were leaving for the SEC.. so yes, everyone knew.
