Most really attractive women don’t hang out at those dive bars you were stalking, if you’ve been a fan since the 70’s you’re probably not going to find women in your age group out drinking at the bars either.
Have you seen our secondary cover anyone all year. You could push me in a wheelchair on a post and we’d get open.
If we play a good solid game and still lose I don’t think so. If we shite the bed and call a bunch of time outs and with the game on line call a quick out on the goal line and our QB throws the ball 19 feet out of bounds short of the goal line then yeah it’s a big deal. Even great teams lose to that man from Tuscaloosa.
Confidence-no! Hope-yes! Alabama still has that dude. You know, the winningest coach of all time. Yeah, that dude. He’s going to take what he has and play a smart football game. Milroe is best when he breaks the pocket. He hurt Texas and he will hurt us if we don’t keep containment.

Question:
Y’all are having a season for the ages. Why in the furk are you worried about a game that’s not in conference when you are playing the biggest threat in your conference?
We have lost some head to heads recently. We finally get one. I want to comment on something related but not to this commitment. A couple of years ago my beloved school signed the best rated class of all time. We took some 5 stars with red flags. Texas quietly signed the greatest offensive line class of all time that same cycle. Now those guys all turned into starters and are living up to the ratings. I’m not going to admit Coach Sark knew Texas was leaving the B12 and joining the SEC. But he damn sure recruited like he knew.

I hate picking a score in this game. Always a damn dog fight. Since Coach Pittman has been in Fayetteville, the Hogs are very well coached, tackle well and execute RPOs and play action passing to a very high level. Something weird always happens. Like last year. We had no business winning that game. They beat us pillar to post except for two screwy plays. The scoop handoff and score and their damned kicker missed a field goal he makes 99 out of 100 times. I say 28-27. Last team with the ball wins. Who wins? I have no idea.
The men and women who brought Coach Fisher from Florida State made billions getting oil out of rocks. They’re not the kind of people who take “we didn’t execute” as an excuse for a poor season. When asked they anted up and paid the contract and when asked again they paid the extension to keep Coach Fisher from pursuing LSU’s overtures. LSU is a premium college football program with a great legacy. A lot of SEC schools are premium programs with winning traditions.

They were sold the idea Coach Fisher could bring that to Texas A&M. So they committed the resources and Coach Fisher landed the highest rated recruiting class in history. So when the Coach said “we didn’t execute” and “there is nothing wrong with the game plan” those benefactors were being talked to like they were fools.

I personally do not put too much emotional well being into the athletic performance of 18-23 year olds. I enjoy the games and know for a fact that no one on this forum wants to win a game more than the young men who put their heart and soul into the game. That’s true at every single school in the SEC. That’s why every game is a dog fight in the conference. That’s also why the conference is as good as it gets.

However, I don’t know if Coach Fisher thought he was talking to fools or whether it was coach speak to avoid singling out causes and players who didn’t play as well as expected. But know that these folks are not stupid and will not be made to look like fools. They expect a return on their commitment.

Texas A&M wanted into the best conference in football because we, like a lot of schools in the conference, want to be known as winners. A lot of schools already have that reputation and we want that reputation. Coach Fisher has been given the keys to the kingdom. Now it’s time to perform.
That’s not what he said. Texas never offered him so there that.
Yeah maybe. But if you want to get really drunk and eat some great food I’d argue Baton Rouge is number 1.

Can’t argue with it. Facts don’t give a furk about my feelings.
That’s why I love the preseason. All the possibilities are endless. We are getting better. But so is everyone else. There are several intriguing teams. Georgia and Bama must be the favorites for obvious reasons. But Tennessee is stacked. Auburn has Hugh Freeze who is an offensive genius. LSU is loaded with great players and maybe the best player in college football. Arkansas is very interesting. They have a football dude for a coach and his players will run through walls for him. I love him going for the win against Ole Miss. Coach Kiffin is an arse but is a phenomenal coach and schemes my beloved Aggies like no other. We called a lot of time outs against the Rebs just because of their formation. We have a lot of really young talented players. But it’s yet to be seen if we can optimize their talent. Unlike years past we are as talented as any team we face this year. We must take the next step and show improvement. Not hard to do with last season’s record. We need to beat the teams we are more talented than (winning the games we are supposed to win) and be competitive late in the games we are not favored in. (1 possession game in the 4th) There were some epic failures last year than cannot be repeated. Remember us coming out of a TV timeout, clock runs down and we call our 2nd timeout, we get a penalty and kick a FG because our Coach couldn’t seem to call a play in 40 secs. We need to be better in situational awareness. Finally I love “FTS” philosophy of Coach Petrino. I’m optimistic and hopeful.
Stadium expansion. When you take in the kind of money we do, you need some debt. Public debt is not like your credit card with the $300 limit. See, there’s this stuff called oil. Stop me if you heard this one. My fellow Aggies are experts on getting that stuff out of the ground and out of rocks and getting it into the tank of your automobile. When you get real good at that, then people give you stuff called money. We have it, you don’t.

Wait until you see the kind of money our former-soon-to-be-present-rival Texas rakes in. I know it’s seem strange that people give money to their alma maters but it happens all the time.

See, the reason you don’t like debt is because you got in debt because you’re broke. So I can understand how someone who supports a school robbing the hospital fund would look askance at debt.

Now for the finale. Wait to you see what we do with that debt. Yes, I know it’s controversial for you that’s why you raised the issue. We do crazy things like actually pay it off.
I think Texas has taken great strides in signing linemen. Couple of years ago, they signed what at the time was quietly recognized as the greatest offensive line class ever signed. Coach Sark has SEC experience so I don’t think it will be a shock to them. I will say this. In conference there is no get right game. I can remember our first SEC game. I watched Florida’s players come off the busses and though my God those look like NFL players. Also, every single team has football dudes on both sides of the ball. You come into conference with the thought “I don’t give a damn if the game is won 7-3, a win is a win.”
I remember when this happened. I knew it was a bad idea. Rancher here. Large animals like cattle and horses on spindly legs are instinctual about threats to their legs. That’s why we use dogs to pen our cows. But one dog, one steer. I knew that steer that’s hand fed and lives like a king would not truck a damned dog. Almost got the dog and the queer handling the dog hooked. Thought it’d make s great encounter. Wrong. You’d think the handlers of the dog, which is world famous would be more aware of danger to the dog. I know the Corp handlers for our mascot Reville are. I know, they thought it’d be funny. I know our rival Texas takes great pains to screen who they let around Bevo. Dog weight 40lbs, Steer weight 15-1700 lbs steer wins every time. I don’t know if you’ve ever watched Bevo, but he does whatever the hell he wants to with those Texas boys hanging on.
Aggie here. I can’t wait till you’re in the league. Top to bottom there are teams in the conference that’ll be more than happy to beat you. Here’s the catch. There is no Kansas or any easy win. You’ll earn every single one. I was amazed how talented all the teams are in the SEC. None of them will roll over for you either. In addition, Georgia has become a juggernaut. Bama is always going to be Bama. We beat them two years ago based upon a singular performance from our QB that as of this date he has been unable to duplicate anywhere he’s been. LSU is a supremely talented team and Tennessee has returned to form as well. When you play Georgia or Bama you will be shocked at how deep these teams are. Maybe your 1s can stay with their 1s. That’s not how they beat you. They roll waves of future league talent at you. It’s their 2s-3s and 4s that grind you down. Welcome to the conference.
Agreed. I for one do not trash players when they transfer. Regardless of the reasons, this is their lives. They get one shot at this. I would hate to be judged on the decisions I made at 19. This player was among the highest rated receivers in the nation. I personally hope he goes on to all conference and all American and get drafted in the first round. A.J. Brown was heavily recruited by A&M and he chose the best situation for him when he went to Ole Miss. Coach Fisher’s offense takes a lot of knocks for its slow developing crossing routes and Ole Miss slings it. They also have a great running game. I wish the young man all the success he can garner.
This player has all the talent to be great. I hope he realizes all his dreams at Ole Miss. Sometimes a change makes a huge difference. When there is a contested ball, this guy can go up and get it. He can also run like a deer. I think he’ll be great at Ole Miss.

Aggie here. We win! Been good, been bad but never been great.

Oh man you got your little panties twitsted into your va-jine-ah. You’re in for a big disappointment when Georgia curb stomps your team.

I’m not going to criticize Calzada. I’ll say this and leave it alone. I miss his courage. That’s it, that’s all I’ll miss. Wait until you see him play for Auburn. He couldn’t even get on your 3 deep roster. There’s a reason for that.
