It's absolutely the toughest position to play right away unless you have freakish physical strength (Daron Payne, Jacobian Guillory were/are accomplished powerlifters).

Yep - and even a guy like Payne was basically good at just holding his ground and shedding some blocks. He didn't start really attacking up the field and getting into the backfield until his sophomore year after he'd had a year in the weight room and quickness and getting used to the level of opponent.

Yall might get him, but I think you're assuming too much here. We're still in it. A number of insiders picking A&M, including guys that aren't A&M guys.

So many picks for A&M. Seems pretty much like a lock to me.

Wiltfong:

"Alabama and Texas A&M appear to be in the best position for Top247 defensive tackle McKinnley Jackson who also includes Auburn and LSU in his final four. Jackson returned to Tuscaloosa two weekends ago after taking his official in the fall and the Aggies get the last official visit this coming weekend. I've had a couple sources say they thought Texas A&M may actually lead. Jackson is the No. 10 defensive tackle in America and No. 94 prospect overall. I haven't heard it's a done deal in any direction.

What makes you think all insiders make CB predictions?

Not even one though. Not one.

What part of "not all insiders make CB predictions" was hard for you to understand?

What about trends don’t you understand?

Huh?

I simply said that assuming this guy is going to Bama is premature. I then said there were insiders who think A&M lead. You insinuated that was false, so I provided evidence that it's not false.

How does any of that entail that I don't know what a trend is? The kid will probably go to Bama, but I think it's way premature to act like it's a done deal.

The bromance is over.

I guess LSU has no shot here with all these insiders claiming victory.

If I'm not mistaken, Elias Ricks was 100% to USC on the CB predictions, even well after he committed to LSU.

CBs don't mean much. Trends do, and he has seemed to be trending to Bama, but who knows. I would not count out A&M. I think LSU gets Burch, but I believe they are out of the running for Jackson.

So, where are the vast number of insiders who are "picking" Jackson to A&M and where are these "picks"?

Just stop, dude. Unless you can show some actual insiders saying this and not just Wiltfong talking about "sources" just take the L on this one and move along.

All of the 247 Mississippi guys say Alabama. Hank South says Alabama, and all of the rivals guys are saying Alabama, including a few who recently changed their picks from A&M to Alabama.
