Per Adam Kramer of SBNation. Nothing confirmed by any Ole Miss sites yet but it was expected. Clowney is the. 2nd 4* to commit to Ole Miss this week, following FL RB Henry Parrish.

Kid's recruitment was quite weird. He was with LSU, then was given his walking papers. TN recruited/signed his teammate and offered several others for the next year or two, but I don't think we ever got too serious about him. Seems like most of those in the top 20 recruiting rankings kept their distance from him.

I haven't heard of any character issues with him like some others that are having trouble finding a landing spot. I do understand that he may need to bulk up a bit to be an every down DE in the SEC.

All Ive heard is he's an athletic freak that needs a year in the weight room. The guy that does the ole miss rivals site said he was kinda skinny for a DE.

True and I’m not worried at all he’s just not an instant impact player. After his redshirt season he could be crazy good.

He may very well end up a solid starter but in the meantime you gotta love the lazy reporting saying they “flipped” him from LSU.
