Got a great player in Manning, though Cristobal is bringing SEC program development to a place with resources and administrative buy in on the west coast. That defense is already tough but it’s going to be nasty in the next 2 years

No idea why a defensive recruit would want to play at Oklahoma. In the playoffs they always look terrible.

#Oregon signee Five-star CB Dontae Manning is considering leaving the program due to the loss of CB coach Donte Williams. #Georgia, #TAMU, and #Oklahoma we’re runners up in his recruitment.

As an UGA fan, I'd damn sure take him, but I think we don't have any more spots left.

Unless we have some attrition in the spring...

I imagine most teams don’t. Also our CB coach left also so not sure where that leaves us

I doubt we have much of a shot, but I figured I'd still post. Interesting he had a change of heart so quickly.

Why do players commit to a coach? Coaches leave for other jobs every year. Commit to the school.

Lol this is the absolute dumbest shite I see WRT krootin.

If you are picking which football program is going to pay for your school, you are generally going to gravitate to whatever coach connects the best with you and whatever program/culture fits you best.

If a player commits to Maryland, and turns up to practice to see DJ Durkin killing a kid and showing a bunch of animals getting slaughtered, should he stick around cause he ‘committed to the school’?

What happens when a kid shows up to school with the intentions of majoring in a certain field, only to be told that major no longer exists? Does he go to another school that has that program, or does he stay put cause he’s ‘mitted to da school?

Yes coaches leave every year, so what’s the issue with a kid doing the same.

I had a class my sophomore year of about 40 people, 35 of which were athletes.

The professor asked, and I would say 30 of the 35 said they picked a coach and not a school.

Off topic, but the Mizzou thing was happening at the time (2015). LSU was undefeated and a top 10 team at the time and Garret Brumfield was asked if LSU would do something similar if it happened in Baton Rouge. He replied "shiiiit hell no. We ranked 2nd in the country we got more important shite to worry about. only reason theyre protesting is because they're 4-4."

He’s going no where. CFBquotes is a fake site that pushed this rumor.
