I wouldn't feel too sorry for them as they picked up a top RB yesterday.

#2 RB on Rivals
#3 RB on 247
#5 RB on ESPN

Always nice to land one really solid RB each class.

Yeah I saw he's one for the future just always a good day when they miss out on someone that can help them now.

He will fill in nicely for Spiller when the kid goes Pro after next season. 2022 is going to be LJ/ Achane splitting carries

Guess I have not read up much on the kid but I never did see the lifelong Longhorn fan part. Most Texas recruiting boards just assumed that becasue he is a Cy-Fair kid, his whole school and community is pro-A&M.

He grew up orange - wears 34 because that was Earl Campbell's number. However, the kid is smart. Took one look at our OL recruiting, and compared it the sips. He said he wanted an elite OL to run behind

Still confident about our RB room for now, especially with Bijan Robinson getting most of the carries. The other guys have proven to be good spell backs as well, and from what I've heard this Jaydon Blue kid is lights out.

LJ Johnson is a good pick up for A&M as winner of that sweepstakes, though. I like how he kept quiet the whole process and made an informed, logical decision instead of running his mouth and begging for attention on social media. He should be good in College Station

Yeah, it was funny to see how flummoxed the recruiting gurus were by his and his family's total silence on his plans.

Blue's commitment is nothing but a free reservation. Our guy is signed!

They picked up a 2022 commitment. And Blue is a good back. But that's a long way away.

In 2021, A&M picked up 8 (maybe 9, if we get Thomas) guys in the top 132 players. They got 1. A&M picked up 17 (or 18) in the top 300. They got 6.

Sark can't afford many classes like this, or that roster will be shite. The problem for him is that Jimbo is way, way ahead of the 2022 class, even given that they get Blue.

Yeah Fisher’s first class wasn’t great either compared to what we are doing now. He did a flip a few guys though. With the early signing period new hires are basically locked into the previous guy’s class. Texas will recruit very well with the staff they’ve put together, I am more interested in how the fans react if they win 8-9 games the next two years and don’t beat OU.
