Agree about Adams but we all know how recruiting in the south goes. It's never over until it's over.

As far as Liner I have no dog in the race and actually am rooting for Auburn to win out if for no other reason than to not have what happened with Yeldon happen again. Things like that are crushing to a recruitniks feelings for a couple of days and even longer when the name is thrown in your face like happens in the Bama/Auburn rivalry. That said to me Liner is starting to sound eerily similar to Yeldon and the Bama confidence usually means they know something that others don't. It's almost like they're trying to prepare Auburn for the inevitable. Granted it could just be Bama being bama but most times they feel this confident they are right. Even through all the pro Auburn statements he makes they keep that confidence. Something doesn't smell right.

I like to think I'm not a bad guy to other fan bases on here, I try to be as informative as I can. I tried desperately with Yeldon so we will see if my warnings are taken to heart this time.

Uh, they are confident about every single player. They don't know anything more than what everybody else knows, they just act like every player they have on a visit is going to commit to them.

Sweet, thanks. Landing MA would be huge.

Although, I still find it hard to believe that Dee Liner was at Alabama's A-Day.

Yeah AU's lead is pretty significant, his visit set his mind straight, not even considering Bama, Clemson is now on the back burner from what I heard, he's coming like you said for BCW, he has a few coaches on HS staff with close ties to BVG, that hire gave AU more inroads in the state of Ga than any of you realize I think.

I like to hear all that...

You have to have defensive linemen to win in the SEC, and if we could pull Dee Liner, Carl Lawson, and Montravius Adams...holy hell, we would be good to go for the next couple of years.

Dee Ford, Corey Lemonier, Nosa Equae, Craig Sanders, and Jeff Whitaker are all Juniors this year. They'll need to be replaced soon.

Yes, I am. I'm just not buying that Liner is about to switch.

T.J. Yeldon, a long-time Auburn commitment, created a bit of a stir this week following an official visit to Alabama.

But an in-home visit from Alabama coach Nick Saban and a weekend in Tuscaloosa wasn’t enough to sway the 4-star running back from Daphne (Ala.) High.

Yeldon told Randy Patrick of WKRG in Mobile that he enjoyed his official visit to Alabama but plans to enroll at Auburn in January. His message to Auburn fans was not to pay any attention to rumors he may be changing his mind.

“People are going to make up rumors and say whatever and say all this,” Yeldon told WKRG. “I’m just taking all of my officials. Coach said I could take them.”

Thought that too, and I was assured it was, but then I was informed of how favorable it is at this time for Bama.

I don't like the fact that he's said (I think) that he would like to play LB. That won't happen at Auburn. I'm not even sure how he stays light enough to play end at Auburn. I always thought his future at Auburn was/is at DT so if we lose him and get MA that will be a nice compensation

Good point. Usually they are known for their modesty.

Look from past interviews I picked up on that too. The thought of playing the oft used "Jack" position excited him. I truly believe that has stuck with him and why there is most likely truth to him possibly switching.

With that said I am not worried either way. He will go where he goes, and nothing I post here will change that. I decided last year with CK that I would not take recruiting that seriously. I love it, and follow it, but I don't invest in teenagers words any longer. Whoever signs with AU is who gets my support.

I'm just going to go with what Dee Liner says, and if he's lying about the whole thing, then he has the same moral issues that Yeldon had, and good luck at Bama. There's just no reason to constantly lie over, and over again (not saying he is). It's not that big of a deal to disappoint a college if you're going to eventually flip anyway. I'd rather him go ahead and flip, and not keep lying to everyone. No matter what he says, there WILL be conflicting reports from Alabama's side anyway, so I guess it's just best us Auburn fans stick with Liner's story.

I wonder when Montravius Adams is going to announce?

If we get Adams, coaches should tell Liner to stop screwing around or hit the road. I consider them equal, and while I'd obviously like to have both, I'd be fine with one to go with Lawson
