Those off-field issues haven't stopped Chizik and his staff from rounding up 16 commitments to date. The three five-stars in the bunch is a higher total than any other school but one. USC also has three five-star commitments.
Consider that Rivals has ranked only 17 players as five-stars, and only 11 of them have committed. Auburn and USC have split six of those 11.

Just watched a RF highlight video for the first time.
Wow, nobody falls forward when he tackles...a lot like Tray Blackmon. Has great form in his tackles, did see a few Daren Bates style dives but that can be cleaned up.

Yeah, I would like to see another home-home series between the two. I saw the one at JH, but would like to go to LA and watch a game.

I try to get to at least one AU game a year, and always have a great time. I missed going to the 2003 game because my AU buddy who assured me "I got this" didn't "get that" at all.
Chiz looks like he is doing a really good job recruiting, I like what y'all are building up there.

I was at that 03 game. Might have been the most miserable game I've ever been to. It was about 95 degrees, I was hungover as all hell and my seat was in the sun for the entire game. That's not a recipe for fun when your team gets its arse beat.

Yeah, it was the coming out party for Bush, etc. Good times.

Ugh...I remember walking up yo the stadium talking shite with an older guy from LA who was a SC fan, the last thing he did was put on his shades, smile, and say "Well, good to talk with you, and whatever you do...don't take this asswhipping personal my man"...
I took it personal

Does anyone have an update on JaQuay Williams and Darrion Hutcherson?
They still aren't enrolled. I'd hate to see a guy like JaQuay have to go the JuCo route. I think he'd push for playing time.

Dunno about Hutcherson, but Williams has to pass a math class this summer before he can enroll. Last I heard he was expected to.

He's good to go, right? "C" is a passing grade.

Tidbits from the Bunker:
-Stuff going on with ZP, lay off him, he'll be back if he wants to
-Blakeley, "You couldn't dynamite him out of AU"
-Frazier will start
-Secret visitor this weekend, no name given
-Look for Coates to step up big time
-Isaiah Jones is still looking at us.
I talked to someone a few weeks ago who's close to the AD about what's going on with Pike, and it matches up with what was said in #1. Not that it's an excuse for his behavior, but it's easy to understand where it's coming from. He's going through a lot right now.
I didn't want to say anything about it without confirmation, because this is a guy who told me with 100% certainty that we had an NFL guy locked up for OC and we were just waiting for his team to get knocked out of the playoffs.
