Gotta think Lutzafrick will be a big part of their offense since if Auburn wants to win they wont have Kiehl throwing too far down the field. Plus they need some weapons without a strong RB to take pressure off him.
I don't think it will help them very much if he is highly involved, but everything he catches is 5-10 yards past the LOS. Their offense is going to need to look good AND their TEs will need to be a big part of that. Same goes for us. If Frazier looks like he did last year we don't have anything to worry about, but I have a hard time believing he hasn't gotten better. He was putrid last year. Can't expect much more out of a true freshman though.

I am right here. Nt going anywhere. We will see. Either way, UGA will be just fine at RB, and like I said before, Kamara ain't a part of that deal.

Someone on here probably 20 pages back said Allen measured 6'2.5 and 244lbs on his visit this weekend...

Definitely disagree. I know many who want to give the guy a lifetime contract. There's still plenty of Richt hardliners out there, a few that are on the fence, and even fewer that want him gone. I've only heard maybe 1 or 2 on ATL sports talk radio that want Richt gone, and only a few in person.

Disagree also, there are many in their fanbase that are content with 10 win seasons, and the hopes for a better one next year. What a lot of people forget about is UGA isnt some historical team that use to rack in NC's. They've only really had to points in their history that rank up there, one being Richts early years, and the other when they had one of the greatest college football players ever. Oh, and one year during WWII. So this isnt a fanbase that was use to competiting at the 1% level.

Allen looks much much bigger than 225 on film to me. I know some of that could be the fact that he wears huge shoulder pads but I don't buy 225. Even if he's just 240, he could easily be 255 after another year of high school and 1 year in our S&G program.

Yeah, I remember. You have crimsonlawyer to thank for that. It certainly wasn't my idea for the ban bet.

What's the dads handle?
I don't know, but there was a big deal made about him joining the board when OJ committed last year. I honestly don't feel he will flip so I certainly don't want to piss his father off to send his recruitment into a downward spiral. As of right now he is a Bama commit and he should be treated with respect (not saying he is being disrespected mind you).

Every UGA fan I know would kill to have Saban, but refuses to admit it because they think he's an a-hole with no scruples. They are starved for success as a program.

They won the East last year and they definitely should win the East this year. Let us not forget that they were dominating LSU at half time of the SEC Championship game last season. Georgia has the talent to be very good this year.

They don't have the coaching to be elite. If you switch the coaches, our staff still wins.

I said it a while back and people laughed at me Adrian Hubbard going to be like Aldon Smith.

People forget that the UGA fanbase is far more heterogeneous than say that of an Auburn or Bama. The vast majority of the loud hotheads around Atlanta couldn't even give you the starting 22. You are absolutely right, though, about the difference in total commitment between the two fanbases. UGA certainly has an core group that really, really, really wants to win at all costs, but in reality, the vast majority of the fanbase is perfectly happy with a stable coaching staff not likely to embarrass the school that wins the SEC at a fairly steady clip. I have no idea whether three fairly integral players on the team at Bama would have been discouraged or encouraged to go to Italy for Maymester, but it certainly doesn't surprise me that three from UGA are there currently taking wine tasting. As a fan, I am perfectly fine with this. The vast majority of these players for both teams aren't going to make it in the NFL, and so yeah, I prefer to see them getting a well-rounded college experience as opposed to being so focused on football 24/7/365 that they are totally lost when it is taken away from them. But that is my opinion. Others in the fanbase are certainly just as bloodthirsty as any Bammer.
I will also add, that I think the difference between the two programs is not the onfield coaching staff, but the amount of money and manpower behind the scenes. This is why Saban is so much more successful at Bama than he was at LSU- he met his match with regards to single-minded purpose in the Bama administration and donating fanbase.

Maybe so, but they are in the East, which until they hire some major coaches will remain the weak sister of the SEC. If Richt lands 7-8 of the top 15 players in Georgia each year he should win 9-10 games a season easily. The state of Georgia is quickly becoming the de facto college football recruiting state in the Southeast over Florida.

I'm big on Hubbard as well, no surprise at all to me to see him be an ELITE player on the D, gonna turn some heads this year
