Watch this KO return and tell me you don't see his potential as a WR

While a great KR and I could see the potential, it doesnt show if he can catch or not, run routes, etc. If he came to UA we wouldnt even know if he could until his JR year.

I think his HS coaches are doing him a huge disservice by only playing him at RB, and even more telling him that its the only position he should play.

Spring 2010. He actually didn't make the switch from LB til after the 2nd or 3rd game of the 2010 season when Mike Marrow transferred from the program.

All this talk about Henry, and hardly anyone has mentioned that he is already committed, and we would have to flip him.

Because in Henry's last interview this past week he had nothing but good things to say about UA and that is where he thinks he get can get everything he wants in college. Not to mention he said he would visit on June 8th and when he returned home from the visit he would no where he was going to school. Does not sound that solid.

In regards to his running style in the interview he already mentioned how he needed to focus this upcoming season getting his pads lowered and talked with Saban about it. FWIW

He wouldve been good at either. He did very good at linebacker, we just needed him
more at rb. He's the only player to get shuffled and have any success

From BOL:

Being told that as it stands right now there will be 20-22 prospects in the 2013 class (does not include any gray shirts -- Charles and Tim can tell you more if that is a possibility or something that will continue -- i have no clue). This number could obviously change with attrition. Just wanted to give you a quick update of where things stand.

I think we'll sign ~24 with a couple guys slated to greyshirt if need be.

Ill take Kamara over Henry. Everyone is talking about him having something that Kamara doesnt have and im guessing you guys are meaning the ability to run between the tackles with his size but look at there film. Henry doesnt run between the tackles he bounces it outside dang near the whole time. Now watch Kamara and watch his shiftiness. He already weighs 195 and ad 10-15 more pounds this kid would be just like Mark Ingram. Maybe its just me but I want Kamara. There is a reason the coaching staff sent him all of those letters.

Kamara ain't likely to be dependent on Henry one way or the other. If Bama picks up Henry, they will most likely lose Jones. Just things being heard on this side of the state line.

I like Kamara a lot and agree that he will be a very good player. But like others have said, we really don't need another guy like him. Tenpenny and Jones are perfectly capable of taking the load and we have a large stable of slot recievers. While Henry has said that he only wants to play RB in college, many others have done the same thing and end up changing positions anyway. I would be ecstatic with either Henry or Kamara, but I also believe that Henry has the potential to play many more positions, whereas Kamara is either a RB or a slot receiver.

Only way I make that trade is if Henry is willing to switch positions as soon as he steps on campus. Other than that I want Jones.

I agree that Henry's sophomore film doesn't show him running between the tackles much or running over/through tacklers very often. But his junior highlights on Rivals (couldn't find any on youtube) show him doing just that quite a bit.

You guys just have to excuse me. Im not a Henry hater but I just dont see a guy that tall with those skinny legs lasting that long against a D like ours.

Derrick Henry will fill the big back void we will have when Fowler is gone after next season. Henry rushed for 7,500+ yards in 3 seasons at Yulee in spite of his upright running style. The guy is a MONSTER freak athelete. Not to mention he will also be an early enrollee. I think Coach Burns can make this guy unreal.

I like Kamara but he doesnt bring anything to the table we dont currently have. He's around 5'10 190lbs and fast... can play slot or RB. Chris Black, Dee Hart, Blake Sims, Tenpenny and Tyren Jones should be able to cover those roles for the next few years.

That's actually something that concerns me a little bit about Henry. He's been a workhorse for Yulee for 3 years with 1 year to go. I know he's a big boy and can take a lot of punishment, but he's going to have a lot of miles on him by the time he gets to college.
