And remember, you may be fresh coming off a bye week, but you might also be rusty.

Because past history said we were rusty off of a bye right?

Im actually glad we dont have a bye for them this year. Seems like it has always hurt us, course it may not have mattered at all. Maybe they were just a good team??

Rivals Position U rankings are shite.

Miami has like four of the spots. Who is their last first round pick?

They also split the LBs into two separate categories. Texas got OLBs and Miami got ILBs.

How is that a fail? We've lost two bowl games and only one game with time to prepare during the Miles era.

That's a lot less than Saban.

On May 24th, Demarcus Walker will do the old “hat trick”. He will have 4 hats from various schools on his list lined up on a table in front of him. He will pick one up and put it on his head to announce his college decision. While we do not know which 4 schools will be represented by hats on the table that night, we do know that the balloons, paper plates and cups used for the celebration after his press conference will be crimson in color.

He failed to pick up on obvious sarcasm. Apparently you did too.

It's really not. We beat bama and lost to Arkansas in 10. We beat Bama and smashed Arkansas then lost to Bama in 11. HB was prone to being picked on by the bigger WR's of Arkansas in 10. He gave up a few TD's that proved to be the difference. In 11 he was moved to Safety due to the minor injury to Reid. He excelled there and allowed Brooks/Simon and Claiborne to lock up the corners. which is why I hope he is moved to Safety since it's unlikely Loston will make it an entire season or practice without stubbing his toe.

I have said all along that Mathieu is a bad corner and should play as safety. He does not have the physical attributes to be a good CB in my opinion, but he has a nose for the ball and likes to hit people. That sounds a lot like a free safety to me.

UA has offered Durham (N.C.) Hillborough tight end Josh McNeil per Jon Leggette of CarolinaBlue (UNC site). Chris Rumph notified McNeil of the offer last week and the Crimson Tide are currently in the Top247 prospect's top three with Oregon and Cal. He's now pushed back his decision to late summer and hopes to visit UA soon. McNeil was high on Ohio State before they landed top 100 TE Marcus Baugh earlier this month

Alabama to visit five-star OLB Jaylon Smith on Tuesday.

I think that Notre Dame has a slight lead on Ohio State in the pursuit of Smith at this point in the process. Smith has told me that he wants to get down to Alabama this summer. He plans on making a college decision in August.

Heard a rumor about this last night seemed we caused him some pause on his decision, got a great chance with our offense and he has some family in AL

Also just pissed the LSU fans on the SECr I listed the position advantages of Bama vs LSU and there were less LSU ones on there than they thought I think lol

Like Shane said, it's only a matter of time. A source who saw Bosa at St. Thomas Aquinas last week confirmed Bosa's recruitment will end sooner than later, with the Buckeyes being huge favorites here. He could be waiting to make a formal announcement of some sort.

quote:

Bosa was a strong UA lean early on. He started to look at some of the Big Ten schools more and could feel like he would stand out from a physical and athletic perspective in that conference. There's still a decent chance he will visit UA again should he pull the trigger for the Buckeyes.

Another North Carolina kid seriously considering Oregon and Cal? I'm thinking we'd have to break out the check book to win this battle. Not worth it for a TE.
