Hey, You attacked me, I don't care how much Allen likes Alabama, as of right now, he is not a take for Alabama. We would have to have others turn us down 1st. Recruiting rankings don't matter, the coaches don't rate Allen as high as the services do.
So if Beckwith waits as long as he says he will then how do you feel about Allen's chances then? I don't think Saban will hold a spot for Beckwith if he doesn't commit before January. I think Allen will get his spot if the staff is indeed higher on Beckwith.

I can't answer with any authority, the only thing I know is I was told this morning the coaches feel very good about Beckwith, but as you said it is a long way away, & LSU could easily change that.

DE is becoming a 5 tech that can slide to 3 tech. Dual Jacks become 7 tech for the nickle and the nose is strictly a 0-1 tech that is pulled for nickle. That would make the base D a 5-2 flex rather than a 3-4??
The last time this was the base D style for Alabama, Mike Pitts was on the weak side and Emanuel King was on the strong side.

What else would you have done with it?

I kind of find it hard to believe Allen isnt a take.
Couldn't agree with this more, but that's just like, my opinion man.

I find it almost impossible to believe that Allen isn't a take.

Across the board hes a top 50 guy. Hes a take.

Just added a little more. Take the right bottom corner and lift (like turning a page) to where it looks like Houndstooth is underneath. Not too complex and still keeps it simple.
I'd use a darker shade of red. That looks too much like Arkansas. Drop a shadow on the username to make it stand out and Pop.
That's me though.

Sounds like it would look good. If you get bored sometime and want to hook it up for me, I would appreciate it. I don't know how to do that stuff so I have to take what I can get.
ETA: It might look good if my name was in a houndstooth pattern also.

UA likes Rod Crayton a lot; may want to see him in camp before offering

I think he grows into a big WR.

he's falling hook line and sinker for that Jack BS though.
LSU fans get so mad about the position.

Auburn fans too. This was posted on an Aubbie board
quote:
Whoever is recruiting Liner needs to make it blatantly obvious that Courtney Upshaw is slipping in the draft and that Alabama let him play at almost 20 pounds over-weight. Dude measured in at 6'1.5, almost 280 pounds and posted absolutely pathetic explosion measurements There is no reason for a "Jack" LB that is under 6'2 to weigh in the 270's (Upshaw weighed 272 at the Combine and 279 at Bama's Senior Day). Honestly; if he didn't play for that stacked Bama defense his workout would have killed him. If you analyze just the player alone you see a short, over-weight player with little explosiveness (which translates to him having completely average sack totals at Alabama) and difficulty moving laterally.

I told the Aub who posted that on another board its nice to see they are worried about Liner. He said he's not worried, he's concerned for Dee because he is being lied to by Bama.

How high is Bama on Von Bell's list? He just named OSU #1 after a recent visit.
Posted on 4/20/12 at 2:37 pm to TTsTowel
We're in his top 5 is the last i've heard.

There's a lot of mad in that thread. And he's going to lose all his hair worrying that much. I'm assuming he never saw Upshaw actually play.
