He does coach TEs. If you haven't noticed we've had better numbers there every year he's been in Tuscaloosa.

Looks like they added a bunch of walk-ons to the roster including Corey McCarron. Also changed it from 2012 to 2011 for some reason.
I think they've updated some height/weight info too because Ivory is listed at 315 and I'm pretty sure he was 308 before.

He gives Nick old fashions after practice everyday. He has very soft hands.

I wish Saban would hire a real Special Teams coach and let Williams concentrate on TE's.

LaMichael Fanning 6-7/298
Xavier Dickson 6-3/262
Oh and Kelly Johnson (walk-on) is now on the roster and listed as a TE so that guy on BOL apparently knew what he was talking about.

That was my hope when it was thought that Kirby Smart would leave for Ole Miss. I wanted Joe Robinson to replace his LB duties and coach special teams. I think we could have also managed that if Lance Thompson hadn't been hired. Robinson is a tremendous special teams coach.
Bobby Williams has been very good with the TEs, but it wouldn't hurt my feelings to see a new special teams guy in the future.

They still have to be coached. Bobby Williams has coached with Nick Saban at Michigan State, LSU, Miami, an now Alabama. I'm assuming he probably trusts him. But I'm just a fan, so what do I know.

I'm a little disappointed Burton Burns didn't get a bigger raise. He got bumped from $280k to $290k and he appears to be one of the lowest paid assistants with the smallest raise. I thought he was one of our best recruiters too.

That was part of my argument that I didn't vocalize well. I'd rather Burton stay than Bobby. Not that I just hate Bobby, but 35k on top of already being very highly paid???

Duron's name has been removed from the rolltide.com roster.
Im sorry but this shite is getting old and retarded.
We should just cut ties with him at this point. The guy is evidently a world class frick up who isn't willing to do what is necessary to play big boy football. No point in letting someone like that take up the roster spot of a guy who actually wants to be there.

According to Chase Goodbread when asked today about the rumors of D Carter's name being removed from the roster, his response was basically no big deal because it has not been on the spring roster from the start.
Daily roll call: Suspended receivers Michael Bowman, Ronald Carswell and Duron Carter were not at practice. None of the three have practiced since spring drills opened March 9. A few have asked me on twitter today about reports that Carter has been removed from the spring roster. Nothing significant there -- as we pointed out here a couple of weeks ago, Carter's name hasn't been on the spring roster since drills began March 9. No status change with him
I also doubt his father would take a leave of absence from ESPN to move down to TTown if his son was not going to be a part of the program.

I believe Chase is wrong on that point. While it's true that Bowman and Carswell haven't been on the spring roster, DC's name has been on it until today. The spring media guide is still accessible on rolltide.com. It has the 2012 spring roster including DC but not MB or RC.

I love how Landon Collins and Geno Smith tweeting to Robert Nkemdiche about Alabama is "bullshite", but Kwon Alexander doing so is promising news. I guess it works both ways for opposing fanbases, but it's still funny to follow.

Dial looks like he trimmed up a bit. Fanning looks like a monster, but didn't he have some question marks about his motor coming in?

I don't think he had very good coaching through high school, as he bounced around so much. I think the potential is off the charts, or Coach Saban would have never taken a chance on him. He seems to be settling in.
