WTF is up with our QB and OT recruiting? I mean goddamn, we did just win the National Championship for the second time in 3 seasons. Why is this proving to be so fricking difficult?

Bateman is Still on the table. He is visiting LSU for the spring game, but I don't think we are a serious player for him.

When Max Browne visits Bama in a couple weeks the tune on here will change in regards to our QB recruiting.

I really hope we get Browne. Not gonna get my hopes up because I still think USCw leads but we really need either him or Bateman.

No you don't. LSU and Bama don't need a dynamic QB. You just need one that limits mistakes, and takes care of the ball while managing the game.

I know, but it would be nice to get one of our top QB targets just once.

The OT recruiting can be explained by simple geography. We had a strong need for OTs in a year where 3/4 of the elite ones are from the Midwest.

QB seems to be becoming a bit of a problem though. Hopefully with McCarron being a 2nd year starter we open the playbook up a bit more and QB recruits stop looking at us as a turn around and hand the ball off program. Frankly, most of these kids don't give two shits about winning if they aren't throwing the ball 40 times a game.

Zaire committing to ND just doesn't make much sense. I have to question the strength of that one. Kiel will only be one year ahead of him. Unless he completely shuts down his recruitment, you know other programs will be in his ear about it if Kiel wins the starting job as a true freshman.

The 5 star rated linebacker from Georgia has maintained his committment to Alabama, but that's not stopping the Tigers from staying in touch frequently. Wasnt he just talking about taking visits like last week or this week? It does seem strange for him to pull the trigger this quickly.
