I think too many thought Bama could just go and whip it's "dick" out and all the single ladies would come flocking.

Pretty much all I was saying.

A lot of people seemed to think we could just make a list and have everything wrapped up by the middle of the summer, which just wasn't ever going to happen.

I think things have gone pretty damn good. The Artie Burns situation sucks, but we're luck there are a lot of corners that are knocking on the door. I'm not going to read into anything with RN right now. We'll hear the same thing when he visits Clemson.

Never going to happen again until these douche bag kids stop craving so much attention. Which won't happen considering how big recruiting has gotten. Now, parents are getting involved with the attention as well. IMO recruiting will someday be the death of CFB, unless some people fix the situation.

You would be eating this shite up if he was positively speaking about Alabama. You're taking the right approach though.

I certainly don't remember throwing a party over his visits to both Junior Days. I mean. I'm already seeing a pattern here. His father said as much.

Tim Castille must be interning. He was back at practice today.

Yep. Just posted on BOL.

quote:

Former Alabama player Tim Castille was again working with the running backs during Monday’s practice and school officials confirmed that he is on the staff as a student coach and/or intern. Also at Monday’s practice was former UAB coach Neil Callaway, who was seen talking with Joe Pendry.

Sources indicate that Duron Carter’s “fresh start” tweet may have due to moving out of his dorm Monday morning, but he remains on the Alabama roster. The wide receiver is about to get some extra help from his father, Cris Carter, who plans to spend a good part of the next month in Tuscaloosa.

I guess he decided to get started on his coaching career, although wouldn't be surprised if he left for a training camp spot. Or maybe he rather not hold on to the dream too long just to fall down to the arena leagues, like Simeon.

I have more questions now than answers before I read this

And Alvin Kamara might be visiting Thursday with his coaches as there's a coaching clinic that day.

And Suttles last word on Burns:

quote:

He has officially de-committed from Alabama, but has not entirely eliminated UA from his recruitment. However, UA isn't in his top five currently.

The latest word on Tim Castille was that he was interning with a radio station in Birmingham. That was in January. I thought he was going that route. Nice to see him getting involved in coaching.

Take this FWIW, but I talked to someone that covers SFL recruiting, and they said the communication between Bama and Burns went stale.

We can't be recruiting Alvin Kamara at RB at this point. Right?

Not unless we plan on having a dozen of them on the roster at some point in the next 2 years.
