Tenpenny update
Goals for his SR year
On Tyren Jones
On his recruitment
quote:
“Everything is coming along great. I’m going to rehab every day. They’re saying my ankle is looking good and it should be 100% by spring ball,” said Tenpenny. “I’ve been able to move pretty good. I haven’t been able to run for a long periods of time yet, but I’ve been able to sprint and jog for short amounts of time. Running isn’t too much of an issue right now."
Goals for his SR year
quote:
“My personal goals are to get 2,500 yards and as many touchdowns as I can. As a team, our goal is to get to a state championship,” he said.
On Tyren Jones
quote:
“I talked with Coach Groh, my recruiting coordinator, last week. We were just having a general conversation and building that trust relationship. That’s what he called me about, actually. He wanted to call me and let me know (about Jones). I haven’t been paying too much attention to it. I haven’t heard much about him. As for me, I’m not too concerned about it- I’m just focused on coming in and getting better.”
On his recruitment
quote:
“I was going to go to Ole Miss to help my teammates get some exposure. I couldn’t make it, but my teammates were able to make it there. With the Arkansas trip, I’ll be going down there to support my teammates and to talk with Coach (Tim) Horton. I may go to Oklahoma State, too, but it depends on if that will work out. “Oh yeah, I’m solid (with Alabama).”

Also some tidbits from a poster over there
*Coach Nuss has already made a strong impression with the staff at Bama. Very young and energetic coach who I think will thrive at Bama. Seems to be similar to Mac in philosophy but also has some very unique wrinkles that will help make our offense more explosive.
*Chris Jones is the big player to watch in the spring as the staff really feels like he is ready to take that next step & be a great WR. I don't know anything about the coaches at Minor but he came last summer incredibly prepared to play.
*I have heard nothing but good things about the 2 true freshman WRs on campus.
*TJ Yeldon is the most unique talent that we have had in the back field during Saban's tenure
*Keep an eye on the battle at H-Back this spring...Harrison Jones will be the front runner due to smarts and ball skills.
*Fowler needs to have a great spring if he wants meaningful carries in September. Yeldon & Hart are both better pure RBs but both must get ALL the mental aspects of the new offense. Blitz pickup mainly.
*I fully believe we will see a lot more of Michael Williams in the passing game. Big time weapon for us down the seam as he is much quicker than he should be at his weight.
*AJ is now the voice of this team and has proved it time & time again this offseason. Just what this upcoming team needs.

I'm not worried about Altee Tenpenny at all. He'll sign with Alabama.

I applaud your efforts in not allowing this thread to make it to Page 2.

No, not a shock at all if true. I'm just hoping it is true.

I doubt that part as well, just curious if his words hold any water. Thanks.

Do you guys think we'll get a top notch QB in this years class?
Seems like it's gonna be a big time need

Meh. Im confident that even if he does flip we will end up with a quality replacement.
And yes we will have a top flight QB in this class.

Either way, RB and LB is stacked for Alabama.
He better work his arse off...
