Fran. Maybe Sherm if you only look at the second half of games, but I wouldn't call him a blunder since he had good recruiting.

The Willie Martinez/John Jancek combination.

They're both awful coordinators. Martinez is a decent DB coach if that's all you ask him to do. Jancek is just plain awful.

Just look at Jancek's bio. His Cincinatti defenses finished 6th in the league, 7th in the league, and then 6th in the league again. That's right, he did not improve the defense one iota. And this was in the Big East. Thank goodness he's UT's problem and not ours now.

Last play of the 2012 SEC Championship game. Spike. The. Ball. Instead, that hurry-up play very likely cost UGA an MNC.

Worst call: 1984, AU vs Bama

Fullwood around the end instead of Bo up the middle or over the top on the goal line. It is the infamous, "Wrong way Bo" play, but it never should have been called to begin with.

Worst game plan ever by AU coaches, 1983 AU vs Texas. AU tried to run some jacked up air raid with constant pass attempts in the first half. Granted receivers were wide open all over the field, but AU was a wishbone team and Randy Campbell had a limp noodle inaccurate arm for the most part.

WTF: Tuberville against LSU in 2001 when he intentionally tried to see just how pissed off he could get LSU and TS before the game started.

Now that I've thought about it...

Les Miles is the king of coaching blunders. He normally does very well, but when he messes up...egg on everyone's face. It's sort of impressive.

Gotta go with passing over Erk and eventually hiring Ray Goff.

1999 AU vs Moo St game...we intentionally took a safety late in the fourth and went into full blown prevent defense which prevented the win. MSU took a 5ish play drive and scored the go ahead TD. Tubs took a lot of shite afterwards.

Did you forget that our actual OC was diagnosed with Parkinson's? Studrawa was the only experienced playcaller we had on staff.

That play hurt me deeply. Devastating to be on the other side of it. Has not been a more painful AU lose for me since that game.

If it had worked,,, sure it would have been a great call. But letting a receiver throw the ball against a defense like LSU's was stupid that late in a tie ball game. Especially with a running back like Richardson. That never fumbles...

I watched the video. If you adjust the timing or placement of the pass, then it's an incompletion at worst. I'm guessing you think Trent Richardson would make it around the edge.

Of course, Auburn '11 was Garcia's last game. The HBC had enough ... finally.

Of course it wound up being too late then, but back-to-back SEC Championship blowout losses to undefeated SEC West Champions is not what we would have wanted. Let UGA have the embarrassment while we finish the season strong.
