According to Google, Auburn’s 250th victory happened October 29, 1966 when the Tiger’s went to Gainesville, FL and defeated the Florida Gators 27-3.

Isn't that also the last time Arkansas beat A & M?

Oct 21 1939. 21-6 vs Iowa State. Finished 8-2, won the Big 6 that year. Don Faurot's first conference title.

AI was spitting out crazy answers but looking at our season records I think our 250th win was against FSU at Florida Field on Sept 24, 1960 by a score of 3-0.

I wouldn't be surprised if that is wrong. Auburn started playing football before UF and I would be surprised if they didn't reach 250 wins until 1966. AI kept trying to tell me the Gators 250th win was in 1966 also when it was in 1960.

I thought 1966 was the year Spurrier kicked the famous field goal at Auburn and won the Heisman trophy, no?

Quick serach turns out I was right and wrong.

I was correct, that was the year he kicked the winning FG against Auburn, but it was a home game. I don't know why, but I always thought it happend in Auburn.
