MizzouTrue...is that an open plaza just above the "M" in the end zone? If so, that's really nice. I like that.

UK (Commonwealth is still a decent stadium, IMO)
Commonwealth / Roger Field I believe is the youngest from the ground up stadium in the SEC replacing Stoll field in 1973. They modeled it off the Miami Dolphins stadium and it's a period of construction that valued flexibility and function over style. They've made some decent improvements to the exterior but it's a pretty boring looking stadium.

Recent renovations closing in the sides.

Bonus.. A picture from Old Stoll Field when they brought Tucky the mascot to games...

To watch a game at Samfod stadium is like watching a football game on tv from across the street through your binoculars on your neighbors tv.. they not Auburn need to have the worlds largest Jumbotron. Just awful!

LIAR. GT's been voted #1 (according to NCAA records) 4 times. UGA's been voted #1 7 times.

I believe 7 is greater than 4.

And...the ONLY sport in which GT has ever won a national title MINUS voting and actually PLAYING for it is WOMEN'S TENNIS in 2007. The ONLY SPORT, little one.

UGA only has 2 titles. Just because you got Kirby doesn’t mean you can start that revisionist crap Alabama used in the 1980’s.

Hell your 1920 title you claim, you tied with GT and Tulane as a co-champion in the old SIAA.

The 1927 you lost the last game of the year to Georgia Tech and still claim that.

I give you the 1946 since you went undefeated but Army and Notre Dame also claim that year.

I don’t give you the 1942 because Ohio State was number one before the Bowl and won out.

Here the official list from the NCAA and it credits GT with 3 to your one.

Oh and Auburn is credited with Two.

Love the people watching from the overpass .

Up until 1981, the other end of Sanford Stadium was open, and across the road is a railroad track. Fans used to stand on the track and watch the game and the engineers would blow the train whistle from a mile away so everyone would clear the tracks. After the train passed everyone was back on the tracks watching the game.

That's an abbreviated list for their online edition...their full list is printed in the NCAA Records Book, which is available from the NCAA office at cost (I have one), or you can view the complete national championship list here, republished online at Wikipedia. I checked the printed edition with this list and it's identical.

Lucky to have this man as an alumnus and donor:

Jerry paid for the statue and helped build the student-athlete study hall and dining area:
