There was rain in the forecast so they moved all the top fuel events up. Last round of Q1 was over by 4pm. We left after the last set of TFD so I can't say about the fireworks. You are lucky to live there...some of the best golf courses I've ever played and beautiful farmland all around. Not sure why Ohio gets a bad rep, I would move there in a heartbeat.
Long John Silvers. Theres one in Conway Ar that has been there since I was a kid (40 plus years). I have literally never seen a person eat there.

Yes we were in Norwalk. Kids were wanting to go back to Cedar Point this summer so we were close by.

First NHRA Event

Finally got to attend one in person and all I've got to say is holy cow. TV does these machines no justice. We were fortunate enough to get within a few yards of the starting line and just to feel the sound wave percussion in your whole body crazy. Can't remember the driver but they set a track record...ran 3.80 something at 340mph.
Hopefully companies are over this DEI bullshite and are just looking for a reason to fire these fricktards.
If ypu are trying to freeze in bushings or pins on machinery, liquid nitrogen is way quicker and effective. A small tank is not that expensive.

Has it ever crossed your mind that you might be super un-attractive and they were just fricking with you?

Is this the same thing where they were supposedly harvesting adrenalchrome? Don't want to go down that rabbit hole again.
I used to work for H&E and we had a managers meeting there. Never been so ready to get the hell out of a town in my life. Truly depressing place.

I've talked to Jada Smith after a concert one night. She's very tiny and was pretty cool. Believe it or not she was lead for a heavy metal band. Wicked Wisdom if I remember correctly.

Can you go through the screen and see the battery voltage while the truck is running? Should be around14 when running. Or you can put a volt meter on the battery.

What is the incentive?

I don't understand schools paying coaches these huge numbers. Kelly obviously doesn't give a damn right now and why should he? If someone offered me millions guaranteed and it's not based on performance, why the hell would you put in max effort. They need to get a young up and comer, pay them modestly with large incentives for winning. Seems like the whole college landscape has it backwards right now. Or at least LSU's AD does.
