You're a fricking dumbass.
First year starting. Brandon Harris played his true freshman year in blowouts too. I cannot believe you think Mettenbergers 11 attempts should be considered his first year as QB

Then you need to take off your purple and yellow glasses. Because he isn't.

I agree with that. I can;t remember the kids name that was recruited as a QB I think and he never even got a shot. When he committed to LSU he was on TV and the radio trying to recruit other players. He had a ton of personality and seemed like a great positive influence on the team and every time he touched the ball it seemed like he would go for 50 or 60 yards and he would play about 4 plays a game. I would sit there and watch the TV and just think WTF is he thinking not having that kid in the game.
Russell Shepard.
The problem with him was he couldn't throw a college football to the correct area further than 15 yards. Kid had baby hands. We moved him to WR where he's currently playing in the NFL so that wasn't the craziest thing ever. He would probably be selling cars right now if we left him at QB.

Russell Shepard? He was never going to be a good QB in the SEC. He did turn into an okay WR by his senior year but guys like Jarvis and Odell were just better. He is playing in the NFL as a WR right now. He should actually thank Miles for moving him to WR.

LSU must see vast improvement at the QB spot to realize any of the hype to date.
Improved yes but vastly no. He should be around 60 percent completion which he was just 1.5 completed passes more a game last year from doing that. That is 18 more completed passes for the whole year. That isn't a vast improvement.

on the other hand say Harris wasn't the problem, he didn't get any help.
This is probably 10% of the LSU fanbase. Way to overstate things.

From a shear stats perspective, you MAY be right. The issue is around passing precision on short to intermediate routes and his decision making. BH must have vast improvement in those two areas to somewhat balance the offence and to keep the best programs on the schedule honest in their defensive schemes. If not, November is coming.

We'll have better qb play.

No one mentioned his hernia injury that required fricking SURGERY in the offseason.
Do you think maybe that might have been a factor. My guess is most of us would not be able to walk much less PLAY ALABAMA et al!
My guess is chad Kelly is going to miss the hell out of laquan treadwell, not to mention tunsil and nkemdeche

These are the same guys. The only argument to be made that LSU is going to be marginally better is that Harris makes vast improvements.
you obviously don't know shite about college football. let me educate you (which will probably not work due to your limitations); college players are age 18-22 and the most improvement in athletic performance occurs during that time. one more tidbit; experience is critical to consistent top performance.
I swear I thought no posters were worse than the aggies posters but I guess I was wrong. you fricking ole miss guys are pathetic. your jealously of all things LSU is sickening.

Curious as to where you are hearing any LSU fan say this. Every LSU fan,for better or worse, has dumped on Harris for being the biggest issue on offense.

We went 13-0 and had an appearance in the national championship game with Jordan Jefferson and Jarrett Lee/thread

If I were an LSU fan, I would be pretty nervous about the fact that my season rides on the arm of a QB that hasn't gotten in done multiple times before.
Jordan Jefferson beat Alabama.
Twice.

^^^
Since OM fans don't know shite ,and you do why is it. That I know the most improvement gains in athletic performance is from (on average) ages 24-27 across all major sports. Also, experience has nothing to do with consistency. Mental toughness, muscle memory, and practice leads to consistency. All experience does is show how consistently bad or good you have been at your preparation.

On another note name ONE thing that any fan would be jealous of LSU for?? LSU would most likely rank in the bottom 30% of colleges people are jealous of.
Being jealous of LSU is like saying a homeless person is more jealous of a guy on welfare instead of Bill Gates.

You do understand that under this criteria Harris is also in his third year, correct?
