#2. LSU is supposed to be the biggest homefield advantage, and yet you have like 10 total wins against Alabama over the past 100 years there. You hadn't even scored a point since 2014 in your home stadium. So where is this huge homefield advantage you think exists?
The only place and time I've ever seen a crowd make an actual difference is at Jordan Hare. The Auburn student section is right down on the field and it's very loud. Not to mention all the other weird things that go on.
#3 It's funny listening to LSU fans complain about "full strength" teams after beating Alabama by only 5 points last year while Alabama had so many players out for injury that the guys starting at the LB position didn't even make the 2 deep this year.

One you idiot I never said LSU played all 7 Top 10 teams on the road. I said all BUT 2 were on the road or neutral site. To spell it out I’ll put @ Texas, Florida(Home), Auburn(Home), @Bama, UGA(Atlanta), OU(Atlanta), and Clemson(CFP NC).

Only dumb people use game time rankings. You are acting like Texas is some big win when in reality they finished #25 in the AP poll and NR in the coaches poll. Texas had 5 losses on the year, with Baylor and TCU beating them by more points than LSU.

It’s an endless argument. But I do find it funny that the root of most LSU fan’s reasoning is they beat bama’s roster in 2019. You do realize bama beat basically the same roster in 2018 right? Not really a thorough argument.

Can you control what happens after you play a team? No. The rankings matter when you play the game. Why do you think teams’ fan bases rush the field after beating the Number 1 team in the country. Because it matters.

You want to count ND as a huge win? They have not won a meaningful big game in what 20 years?
Let’s compare the SEC championship opponents and playoff opponents. LSU vs UGA. UGA 1 loss ( at home to a crappy SC team). Still had a top 10 defense and did not allow more than 24 points scored on them. LSU won 37-10. Bama vs UF. UF 2 losses ( one to a 3-5 LSU team at home who were starting a true freshman QB and 23 point underdog). Ouch. Not a good win for Bama.
Semi final playoff. LSU vs OU. OU 1 loss Big 12 champions. Bama vs ND. ND 1 loss not a champion of any conference. Has not won a NY6 bowl in forever. Ouch again for Bama.
Championship. LSU vs Clemson. Clemson 29 game winning streak. ACC champion and defending CFP champions. Bama vs OSU. OSU Big 10 champions only bc the Big 10 altered their rules to allow them to get in.
Really no comparison who had the tougher and better playoff wins. LSU. Bama had a nice season. Only 2 teams ever went 15-0 in one season. Clemson and LSU.

In the phony scenario they want you to accept losing to those teams would serve us better, which of course isn’t true and proves how stupid the narrative is. That’s why ranked wins aren’t counted retroactively.

True. We were compared to Nebraska 95 and Miami 01. Bama is not even in that discussion. When I was mentioning home field advantage to a Gump, his counter was about LSU does not have home field advantage against Bama. I was literally talking across the entire landscape of college football. But Gumps only think of LSU when an LSU fan is talking about football.
