Yo why all of a sudden is everyone dogging on LSU’s 2019 Championship?

Bama fans we get it. Y’all were very good this year but we all know this year wasn’t the same as last year. The competitiveness dropped tremendously because of opt outs, covid, etc. Don’t get me wrong y’all were insane but stats don’t always tell who’s best. I think LSU’s 2019 team would beat bama’s team this year by probably a touchdown or two

No one is dogging but all we have heard from some sad lsu posters is this year doesn't count, asterisk and the same BS over and over.

They are incredibly even teams. It probably goes 5 and 5 or maybe 6 and 4 one way or the other out of 10. All would probably relatively close games as well. Trying to decide which team is better is a useless exercise. No one is gonna change their opinion.

People can say whoever they want, I don’t care. I’ll always answer LSU as a fan, and think the stats back it up, particularly the teams we had to go through.
That said, I don’t give a shite about this argument. 2019 was fun as shite, and everyone on this board would kill to have that type experience. Same for 2020 Bama.
To be even mentioned in this debate is fantastic. Not many get to experience that.

The idea of declaring yourselves best team ever when half the teams you played barely met the NCAA minimum for scholarship players is laughable. But, we’re talking about Alabama fans here. 20 year old kids playing a game is all most of them have.

A1abana fans just need some validation - and the way they do that is via LSU (that’s why they post on an LSU website).

The yards were pretty even. Pretty loose definition of dominated. Main difference was 2 turnovers to 1.
You can make a case ‘19 LSU should’ve beaten ‘19 Bama by multiple scores, but I think ‘20 Bama beats them by multiple scores as well.
