He's not a bad coach, and he'll be fine with you guys, but we know what a problem looks like. And the last 4 years were a problem that never corrected.
Alabama fans are the worst. Gonna be glorious when Saban retires and they aren’t in contention every year. Domestic violence in Alabama trailer parks is going to skyrocket exponentially.

Golding was getting pretty close to turning Saban’s coaching career rehab into an actual rehab.

What about that statement was “the worst”?

Yea man we suck for wanting a better coach than the one we currently had.
You guys got Andy Kennedy fired for winning 20 games a year and going to like half your all-time NCAA Tournaments, didn't you?
Didn't you want to fire Bianco about 4 weeks before you won the College World Series?
Welcome to the real world, where performance matters and if you aren't doing it at the expected standard you either improve or move on somewhere else.

Golding’s LBs were great. It was the DBs that got absolutely lit up and you’ll never guess who is responsible for them!
Coach Prime just hired the db coach from Bama as his DC, no ?

Bama was 23-4 over these past two years and it's time to fix these damn problems

Golding sucked with Bama talents
He’s going to get dick stomped at Ole Miss.

Just remember, It wasn’t Pete Golding that Freeze and manziel were cooking 6-7 years ago. Now you’ve got six offenses like that on your schedule every year.
That was Kirby, he seems to be doing ok.
This doesn't help your argument like you think it does...

He may or may not have been. I know bama fans dog cussed Daboll up one side and down the other. He has proven he knows what he is doing.

Saban wants to call defense like Les Miles and Houston Nutt are the offensive gurus in the league.
Can someone translate?

Offense changed. Saban hasn’t.

Yea, ok.
You’re about to find out Golding was a MASSIVE problem. If you aren’t up by 35 going into the 4th qtr you can go ahead and chalk up the L.

Pete Golding is not a good coach. He’s a great recruiter. He’s been Alabama’s ILB coach since 2018 and that position group has wilted into a shell of what it once was.
He’s been the full coordinator since 2019. Alabama has given up more 40+ games to opponents with him coaching the defense than perhaps the rest of the Saban era combined. He’s had some performances that are worse than peak NCAA sanctions Shula 2003 defense yet with nothing but 4 and 5 stars.
He’s an air thief.

Next guy is gonna give up 40 point games too. The I formation isn’t walking back through that door.

“It was the DBs that got absolutely lit up and you’ll never guess who is responsible for them!”
Saban goes through fundamental drills with them. The ones that produced Dee Milner, Dre Kirkpatrick, mark Barron, Minkah Fitzpatrick. Then Kirby/Pruitt would put them in a scheme that was effective. Golding could never scheme. Probably because a safety would collide with will Anderson in pass coverage or Golding would rush 3 and have two linebackers delay blitz with 2 o linemen waiting for them giving the qb…oh, a good 5 seconds to find a target.

No. He's not a great recruiter. He became a pretty good one over time, but far from great. He wasn't very good his first couple years. If he'd have just paid for Nakobe Dean's mother's car to be fixed when they needed it like Kirby did, he... well, he would have probably screwed Nakobe up, too. He was NOT good at "reading the room" and understanding what needled to be done in specific instances. He got a little better at it, but he was never a "great" recruiter.
