John Calipari says at Arkansas, NIL will be ready for him, he doesn't have to "go out and do it anymore."

"The other thing to change is figuring out our roster, and you have to go in now and have NIL ready, which the school will do. I don’t have to go out and do it anymore. I had to at Kentucky

funding tends to dry up for coaches who keep losing in the first round with expensive #1 classes. will happen at Arkansas too

Not having to use proper spelling/English in Arky was the main enticement.

The 2 billionaire donors that got him hired will do the NIL for the next coach.

Smart rich folks get results for their money, dumb ones blow it and get sub par results. My guess Cal fooled them once, now he is gone, and can fool them no more.

So Cal's problem at UK was he couldn't get the players he wanted?

Kentucky is like the United Kingdom, once powerful now mild with a rich history. Sad day for BBN

This. The Arky braintrust seems to think that with chicken and "people of Walmart" dollars, Cal will finally overcome the talent gap that kept him from winning championships at UK.

No we think he will feel wanted and it'll reinvigorate him.
After being stuck at a ungrateful classless university for 15 yrs

It’s probably more so the intangible things like having support and people who appreciate him. To act like this isn’t a consequence for Kentucky is just dumb. Their AD and media have really shown their arse the last few days.

They have. Look at that big bad Kentucky has the same issues the rest of us do. There ego is just as fragile as ours. But we win today
