That and also Arkansas took a mercy knee the year before in Little Rock when they could have easily scored a TD. LSU was all gas in this game.

That wasn't his best team.

When, before, or after, has Arkansas been ranked #3 in the country?

Because that is where Arkansas was ranked going into the 2011 game.

That team had Ryan Mallett, a healthy Knile Davis and a healthy Greg Childs. Also DJ Williams.

Nice!

I think we have the better team but worried about making dumb mistakes or not closing out the game until we can prove we are consistent at that.

Only casuals think a Tyler Wilson led team is better than a Ryan Mallett led team. They see 10-3 vs. 11-2 and that's as far as their analysis goes.

Nevermind the fact the 2010 team was actually competitive with Bama and Auburn while beating LSU and the 2011 team got curb stomped by both national title contenders.

Maybe… but the polls don’t agree. Your highest ranking in 2010 was #8 after beating an over-ranked top ten LSU. 2010 LSU was a shell of 2011 LSU.

But let’s talk about today. Bobby scored points with our 4th string QB last year, in all, Weigman, Johnson, Henderson, Reed. I think Bobby can score with QB1 or QB2 at Arkansas. This game might be close, in the 20-20’s range.

Fun fact: Bobby Petrino interviewed for the LSU HC job after Saban left and Skip Bertman was...not impressed

Bobby's axe to grind with LSU goes back to long before he was Arkansas' HC.

Just think of all the extra championships you would have won. Elite players paired with elite play calling. Seems like a recipe for success

Funny he didn’t use that playbook when he was coaching Louisville with lamar Jackson and got beat 29-9

And that 2011 team should have went 7-5 that season.

They were getting blown out by an average A&M team 35-17 in the first half. They barely won.

Arkansas was losing to a bad Ole Miss team 17-7 in the first half. They barely won.

Vandy was winning 28-20 and was a few yards from putting the game away with a minute left in the third quarter before Jerry Franklin took a 94 yard fumble the other way. Arkansas needed a missed FG to survive.

Great analysis. LSU sucks. Arky is great. Should be an easy game for the Hogs.
