Let him keep thinking OM is a top team. That game was a struggle until OT where I even put money on LSU because I knew OM wouldn’t close it out. LSU should beat Arkansas with their roster but they have quite a bit of issues themselves.

I never said OM was a great team. I said they have a good offense. And LSU has a team certainly has a ton of flaws. But as I stated it’s a QB driven game now and we have a dude back there. Arky doesn’t have a guy like that and the guy they do have isn’t healthy. LSU should roll.

LSU can beat any team in the country simply because they can do the 3 most important things in modern football.
1. Protect their quarterback
2. Throw the ball
3. Pressure the opposing quarterback
The holes within LSU are big enough though, that if one of those three components isn't clicking for whatever reason, they can also lose to any team in the country.
It's a precarious position but it should be interesting.

I was just pointing out the metrics don’t paint the real picture when they include a 70-0 beat down of a team that would lose to Miss State by 60.

Yes. It very easily is. It’s called math. Also maybe playing one of the worst football teams in the country, UAB, would also inflate your numbers. Well you only beat them by 10 so maybe not.

Surely it couldn't be that Arkansas just has a better defense and rushing attack than LSU? Nah that can't be it.

None of that makes sense, really.
I'm not really "nervous" per se, LSU has a lot of holes so I'd be shocked if they win back to back road games at Arky and A&M, I fully expect to drop at least one of those.
Worst case scenario is you lose both.

I’m not arguing that. I’m saying Arkys metrics are skewed by that game. For example your PPG is 33. Take out that game and it’s 25. 8 points is a massive difference. You put up 687 total yards and gave up 130 total yards. You can’t see how that’s gonna skew the metrics?
Arky has advantages over LSU. I was just stating those metrics don’t mean anything because your team decided to pick on a HS team since your coach knew you’d struggle to score 20 in SEC play.
