I'm not a poser, he's in law enforcement. Apparently betting on sports game you are involved in is some kind of RICO violation as well as Wire Fraud. I mean, Iknow it's illegal (see Jontay Porter). I guess he can't play if he's in jail ¯\_(?)_/¯.

That's about the only thing which can keep an individual off the field on Saturdays at this point.

I would assume the Texas judge would say prison has no right to take away his opportunity to improve himself as a football player. Probably gets leave for practice and games.

The Boston College players that were involved in the point shaving scandal were charged so maybe. That one had Mafia involvement though(Henry Hill of "Goodfellas" fame ran it IIRC).

I'm no lawyer, but wire fraud is usually federal. I assume it's a federal judge.

I'm rereading this seeing how silly it is, that I'm actually afraid you might be right .. lol

Who knows anymore..I wouldn't find nutso if your work release program was put into affect...but only for home and instate games. No say he leaves the state.

I mean, yes what he did was illegal. And TT doesn’t care. But they will soon be FAFO.

All TT had to do is cut him permanently from the football program.

Hilarious if Tech takes such a huge PR hit for insisting on playing the guy and he ends up not playing.
That's a lot of pr damage for a guy who never gets to suit up if that ends up happening.

Did he spend his adolescence and teenage years working and sweating while we were all home in the ac?

Campbell's ultimate goal is to get Tech into the SEC or B1G. This antisocial behavior is basically him admitting that's never going to happen.

Yeah he’s gone off the deep end. Scorched earth isn’t always the greatest play when you are new money.

He can be indicted and arrested. However, he will make bail and be out awaiting trial. The trial could be years away. In the mean time he will play this season. He can use his NIL money to pay for his defense.

Irban Meyer was pretty good at reporting other players’ eligibility. That’ll keep you off the field too.

yeah I was thinking about that as well. This is one way to ensure they never get an invite to the SEC or B1G but, like you said, he probably knows this and is going scorched earth now.
