I like the grove. For a little while. Too crowded for me. Then I tailgate near the basketball arena. It’s a beautiful campus.

Damn still butthurt over my thread from days ago?

And yes, that looks miserable to be that packed in tight.

Junction at MSU is more spread out and you actually have room to move around, play cornhole, beer pong, etc

When Mississippi worries about winning as much as pregame then they’ll be all right.

I’ve been to The Junction and The Grove 10+ times each. Junction has relaxed tailgating with a good layout, good food, and good people.

The Grove is a cluster frick of fake socializing between people that pretend to have more money than they actually have.

But in reality - the only reason they’re at Ole Miss is because mommy and daddy don’t have the money needed to get them out of Mississippi

*These are the facts, deal with them*

Because you can’t cook there. No open flames. Hence the finger foods and appetizers only.

Sorry. If you can’t cook.. you aren’t tailgating. You are game waiting.

There are a boatload of kids from rich neighborhoods in Texas that go to Ole Miss because they didn't hsve the grades for Texas or A&M and Mom and Dad didn't care about paying OOS tuition so their little sunshine didn't have to go to Sam Houston or Texas State.

Surprisingly the only SEC trip I've ever been on, and it was awesome. Really nice Ole Miss fans let my buddy and I tailgate with them the entire time. We got to the Grove so damn early... 7 AM for an 11 AM kickoff (central) game, and it was cold as hell. And we won the game 48-44.

Precisely what I thought. Looks like "swing by Winn Dixie and grab a bunch of pre-made clam shells, I don't have time to make anything worth eating"

That, and low test scores.

"Elites" rarely attend the big dumb public schools. When they do, they typically attend highly rated ones.

The same is true at Arkansas and OU.

But being a "rich kid" at Arkansas or OU isn't a big deal, because the culture isn't neurotic and try-hard.

I'd guess the average A&M student comes from more money than the average Ole Miss student.
