Depends, what's his record vs rivals?

The resume is pretty good. Schools should be happy with that. I think obviously the trend in real life is why people wouldn't be. Oregon has been really good since Kelly left but the trend was downward.

Yes. He has done a good job Gus deserves to be comfortable and not have a hot seat. The fact is Bama is unstoppable. So being second in the Sec in wins in that frame is good enough. Though since its been three years I would want another Sec title by year six or Id be ready for change too. Its hard to find an elite coach. So I'd only replace him for a sure thing.

Sounds like you're happy that your coach has 34Cs

I feel like they're turning into LSU with the offensive struggles. I have very little faith that he'll turn things around but he's done a good job recruiting and putting an elite defense on the field.
He had a good season despite the injuries. I think ultimately he's going to fail but he was pretty darn good this year so I suppose it is hard to tell.
It's pretty brutal when the expectations are championship or bust.

You mean, Gus Malzahn?
You really aren't hiding it very well.
Does Auburn like to see this on resumes now? Standards have fallen.

What about a coach that won a NC, SECC and Heisman?

What is this coach's stance on picking his nose in public?

4 winning seasons?
Dude, winning seasons are what vanderbilts aspire to.
Go all in or GTFO

In all seriousness... Malzahn has not lived up to the expections many set for him after the miracle year. He has plenty of Auburn Biggie Bags to go around, and the NCAA has given him and Auburn the green light. Yet, with all the talent that he has on his team, he still can't quite get it going. If one tipped ball against Georgia goes an inch left or right, there goes his SEC championship and BCSNCG appearance, probably heisman finalist too. Same can be said for a certain kick return off a Field Goal.
Then he gets lucky and get's to play a Mizzou team in the SEC championship that would've been a 7-8 win team in the SEC West. That 2013 Auburn team could have easily gone 8-4, and I mean easily. Don't forget the 30 second drive against State to win that game, and a few questionable no call holdings that would've ended it.
These things are not products of good coaching, but rather products of LUCK. He goes into Mississippi State the next year in a big #2 vs #3 matchup, and shits the bed. Malzahn is a good coach, but doesn't get nearly what he should out of his talent. This year Auburn has looked great at times, but were a literal second away from losing to LSU and having a 7-5 season. Buttt, that last play was overturned in usual Auburn luck fashion, and Aubies are claiming greatness after backing into a Sugar Bowl in a 8-4 season.
In conclusion: Add the tip ball vs. UGA moving an inch to the left, and imagine the last play of the LSU game this year wasn't overturned, and that list of accomplishments you got there looks something like this:
4 winning seasons
Seriously, I understand that if ifs and buts were candies and nuts we would all have a Merry Christmas, but that is a mighty fine/lucky line between an "accomplished" coach and a Coach looking for a job this time last year.
Good luck in the Sugar Bowl ya bastards

I will say one other thing about Malzahn, and I think this is what really stands out about him to me(and many others i'm sure).... His face doesn't match his voice.
Oh yeah, and he has 4 winning seasons, that's incredible.

How? In that span, Georgia has 20 SEC wins and Auburn has 18. I know both are behind Alabama...
