The only number that no one will ever wear at LSU is 20. LSU has a tradition of handing down number 7 and LSU is retiring that number for Bert Jones. LSU players will still wear number 7.

Yep Heisman without winning a championship at a place like LSU doesn't carry the same weight. A Heisman at a place that isn't competing for championships in that time era would be different.
