Would LA allow tailgating if it wasn't two teams from the south?

Seems to me like it's to spite the south and texas a bit. Had USC made it then they would have allowed tailgating

Do they tailgate at all in California? If so, are you required to wear masks?

SoFi and LA hosting this game represents everything wrong with college football now

Last year fans didnt have to wear masks for the NFC championship game, but had to wear it for the Superbowl. It's clown world.

It’s literally just a SoFi thing the owner of the stadium owns part of a lot of bars and restaurants around the stadium or has some stake in them and he’s being a cheap a-hole. Stop trying to mix politics into it

Yes, but they call it "experiencing homelessness."

Could be a way around it. Declare your tailgate a homeless encampment. California laws would then probably prohibit anything happening to you.

Hell… you may get California taxpayer funded seating upgrades.

Also by the time the game is over the state would declare you homestead rights. Own a piece of California!

LA Rams fans can tailgate and I’ve read they allow tailgating for other big events. Owner is trying to be greedy here. I hope they burn his arse

So WalMart in laws?

Do they have a Walmart near the stadium, you could tailgate there?

SoFi stadium doesn't even allow tailgating for the pro teams. To me, that isn't right.

Get the CFP back to the Rose Bowl or L.A. Memorial where tailgating is encouraged and in huge supply!

I thought this was a CFB Playoff decision, not LA

I heard yesterday that there wasn't a ban on tailgating just grilling or cooking. Coolers are fine as are tables a food just not cooking. Not overly harsh if so....given that the area is experiencing about as bad a drought as has been seen in the US it isn't unusual to ban outside cooking and fires of any kind....it isn't unusual at all to have a ban on fires in fireplaces in most of the western US because of wildfires....I don't know if that is the reason or not but it could be. UGA banned fried turkey at tailgates because UGA fans, at least some of us, would pour 5 gallons of peanut oil out on the ground or in a storm drain and cause all manner if ill crap. Given that most fans of both teams will have flown in and will be in rental cars its doubtful they were going to be doing a lot of grilling at the tailgate anyway....and even in Athens the cooler is the important item at a tailgate. the grills and the cooking stuff is just an excuse to have the cooler around.

No. It is not. Not for everyone at least.

Better don't...in 12 months you'd get a tax bill that would bankrupt the wealthiest person in Mississippi....

No thank you to the Rose Bowl. That cess pool makes Kneeland and Grant Field look like modern day versions of athletic Taj Majals....the Rose Bowl makes the Coliseum in Rome look comfortable. The Rose Bowl SUCKS as far as stadiums go....it is horrendous.

It's not politics, it's Enos Kroenke being the cheapest billionaire on the planet. If he thinks he can squeeze ten cents more out of the customer he's fine being branded an a-hole because of it.

This a weird, everyone-is-against-us take.

But, the OP is an LSU fan, so I guess it checks out.
