UConn beat UF on a Napier double dribble.

Not sure if it was a double dribble...I know he got his own rebound and made the second shot. Also, Wilbekin was out for the salt 3 minutes of this game.

No Scotty or Walker. We were much thinner in that game, playing at Wisc.

He was out.

We've beaten UK enough this year. I want the Badgers

He double dribbled on the first attempt. Either way, UF blew that game. Still pisses me off that he got away with what seemed semi obvious.

Thank you for having some common sense. It seems WCS has been Kentucky's biggest asset against Florida this year, without him I don't see how they compete with us.

I really don't care who we play, each game has its plus, although I really want to be chanting SEC after the 2nd game on Saturday night as loud as humanly possible.

Don't care who we play.

I do wonder what the plus minus is for WCS against UF.

Don't get me wrong, even without WCS I think we still would have a shot if we both get there. This team has really grown leaps and bounds in the NCAA Tournament. And we've had some guys really step up without WCS. But I just don't see how we'd be favored.

If we get there, and that's a big if, we won't be favored without WCS. Even despite yesterday's win without him.

I've heard Kentucky fans say similar things after each NCAA game ('I don't know if we'll win, but we have a shot') and you guys keep winning. Not falling for it anymore

Each game the gap between us and them got closer and closer.

Not really. Won by 10 at Rupp, then by 19 in Gainesville. Only by 1 in SEC tournament final, but that was after holding a 14 point lead at the 10 minute mark. I think them making it close was really about us more than anything else.

I think Florida is the best team there, and while playing anybody a 4th time is difficult, I don't think this team minds.

Also played without Finney-Smith and some other guys were battling injuries. That was a significantly depleted Gator team and we lost by 6 on the road.

They also completely erased a huge first half deficit against us at our house. That's when they started to turn the corner.

We won by 19. Talented teams go on runs, great teams know how to stop them and finish a team off.

They must've hit reverse before the end of the game.

Yeah we beat them by 1 point next time we played them but I'm sure there's a reason for that too.

I don't know if UF fans want a fourth match with UK but I think every UK fan wants it. It would mean the Cats are in their 12th championship game. Win or lose, that would be the most improbable comeback for any UK team in history, surpassing even the 1992 squad.

Trick question? I wanted UCONN & Wiscy and still do...UK has become dangerous as year wore on.

I think we can beat UK (and frankly without WCS it might not be a close game)-- but I want Wisky simply because it'd be really cool to have a chance to erase both losses this year especially given that neither of them came against UF at full strength.

I'd rather face Uconn and Wisconsin and avenge the only two losses of the year.

But, I think each team presents their own problems for UF.

Wisconsin's 3 point shooting scares me, while Kentucky's size is also a problem.

But Florida is a very well rounded team, and I feel good about their chances against any of the possible opponents.

Also, here is the box score from the Wisconsin game in November:

DFS, Scottie, and Chris Walker did not play.

Jacob Kurtz, a walk on, played 21 minutes, Eli Carter played 10 minutes, and he hasn't played again since November, because they wanted to RS him and fully rehab the leg he broke at rutgers that wasn't 100% healed. He was barely able to play, but Florida didn't have a lot of options in November this year.

So considering DFS is averaging almost 10 points per game, and Scottie almost 14, including almost 17 in the tourney, and neither played in that game, which was a 6 point loss on the road, I see that game going much differently if they meet in the title.

Against UCONN, Kasey Hill, a very important part of UF's team, didn't play at all, and Scottie had only been back for two games at that point. That was also one of DFS first games and he had a stinker with 6 turnovers and only 3 points. UF as a team had 16 turnovers that day, worst of the season, and still lost on a buzzer beater. Again, No Chris Walker either, and Jacob Kurtz played 6 minutes. Devon Walker only played 2, so really UF only played 6 guys that game.

UF is regularly playing 9 guys now that they are healthy, so it's just a completely different team than when they faced either team, and I feel good about their chances in both games.
