There's one series that would be worse but as it currently stands it's pretty abrupt.
You don't rewrite an ending you've spent going on two decades setting up, if anything Pete guessing just shows how well GRRM seeded the books.

That said if he wants to to go super bleak there are some options (Jon and Danerys meet in the middle with armies at their backs) or Arya killing Jon post triumph because she doesn't recognize hi. Until it's too late.

This is on Foley. We should pay more than the poors from UK.

Seriously, catching up on Justified this week in the evening and man- even glammed up for TV, the state of Kentucky looks beat- pretty in places but damn-- its like someone dropped a mountain range in Mississippi.
The SEC East is about to make a resurgence, just need a season for the chemo to clear the system now that Muscancer is in remission (seriously, no spring game due to Muschamp mismanagement- the man makes Derek Dooley look like the Bear).

I've never bought into this. For one, it is stated more than once how Ned came about Jon and who with. Also, Jon just got Julius Caesared at the end of the last book.

Trololololololol.

Must. Not. Take. Bait

Seriously so, so hard not to go into why John's story hasn't ended.
Amazing show, every episode it shocks me this is a network show and not on cable.
Florida stretch doesn't look too bad-if they lose more than 2 there it would be really surprising, 1 loss out of 4 would be reasonable.
Man off season Tennessee is the best Tennessee. You think someday real Tennessee will be in the same strong as fake Tennessee?

We'll be over at the corner of a Decade Ave and Couldn't Beat Muschamp Lane
Seriously, when was the last time TAMU won a conference title in Football or Basketball?

Final 4?
BCS Bowl?

You had a Heisman winning QB and couldn't make it to Atlanta or do better than a Cotton Bowl.

Edited:
Wow...was curious and checked

So:

Basketball-
Final 4: 0, Elite 8: 0; Sweet 16: 1 time since 1980

Football:

Last conference title: 1998

My god, I'd thought adding you guys was like adding Arkansas but Arkansas is actually a far superior program in both sports, you guys are USCe without Spurrier or a bad arse Baseball program.

Why exactly is Auburn looked at as being better off in 2015 than Florida?

Both teams finished with 5 losses and improved their coaching staffs, I don't really understand the disparity-- hell if anything dumping the Muscancer should probably help more than switching coordinators-- I mean Ellis Johnson is a decent DC, Will Muschamp was the worst head coach any major SEC program has had since what Dooley?
Way, way classier than TAMU, but hey we gained the Texas market without having to take on a team that will ever be much of a threat long-term in any major sport.

We took TAMU for markets and Mizzou for sports, the Tigers are way, way more of a threat in the major sports because they wont always be the 2nd, 3rd or 4th option in their own state.
God, its going to be hilarious when Duke takes out UK in the tourney this season.
Eh... I can live with it, the Muscancer knocked us down a peg, but now that infection has moved on to decimate another program.
Urban Meyer must have been the greatest coach the SEC has ever seen to win 2 national titles with apparently little talent.

That or this is an odd way to look at talent.

Oh and all those who say Tebow was carried by the talent- point to it on this list (admittedly the secondary had like 5 NFL starters on it).

Oh and for offensive line I think Florida is a bit better than this list credits them.

BYU's title is a joke. They didn't play a single team that finished ranked and beat 6-5 Michigan in the Holiday Bowl.

One organization list's puts UF #1, by Bama standards it's a title.
Um... Hasn't Tennessee been "just about to turn the corner" for like 5-6 years now.

Here let me save you some trouble- the Vols will open 2015 on fire tearing apart their OOC opponents (barring playing a top 10 team) the fanbase will start to talk smack, then the Florida game will roll around and we won't hear from them for a month and a half only to once again hear about how "the Vols are turning it around" when they beat Vandy and some 3rd tier Big 10 team in Memphis or Jacksonville.

Volzheimers is real people. *

*Not intended as a Pat Summit joke.

It was clearly the putrid offense that kept Florida down, giving the ball back to opponents way too quickly. All of this lies at the feet of the head coach, but it does not correlate to his aptitude as a defensive coordinator.

Actually time of possesion was basically the only Muschamp's offenses were good for (by design, he basically said he wanted to make every game a slow ground out game in which the defense wins) if anything the offense inflated Muschamp's defensive stats in the same way say Oregon has a good to great per play defense but mediocre ypg needs due to the number of possessions they defend.

In what way did Muschamp maximize talent at Florida or Texas, he took a bunch of talent he was given put out good but by no means overachieving defenses and then when he left those teams had less talent since he didn't recruit as well as his predecessors.

Hell, Muschamp put out at best equal defenses to the person he replaced at Florida.

FL won 11 games Muschamps first year because of the D. UM was 7-6 the year before, with a very average D. I would say he upgraded that Defense.

Um.... Florida went 8-5 the year before Muschamp came, then immediately had its worst season in 25 years under his leadership, he followed this up with a fluky 11-2 season, the proceeded to have Florida's worst season in 35 years before rebounding with yet another off year at 7-5.

Seriously, I know it makes AU fans feel better to pretend that Muschamp was learning on the job and was forced out by ungrateful fans, but just looking at the facts on the ground he was arguably the worst SEC coach of the 21st century- John L Smith and Derek Dooley levels of incompetence, wasted talent and poor roster management.
