Why do you think it’s one of these two teams?

2007 Arkansas
2007 Kentucky

I agree about the 2007 Arkansas team. It had a ton of talent but yeah, Houston Dale was a dingus.

Not even close to the worst, that team went 8-4 and had Darren McFadden, Felix Jones, and Peyton Hillis.

If Nutt wasn't the coach that team would've won at least a couple more. In typical Nutt fashion we ALSO lost to Kentucky

Funny thing about this was that going into that year I actually thought we had a chance to actually win the damn thing. Of course, that was also the year I went from tetering back and forth on the fence with Nutt to absolutely hating his guts almost overnight.

2007 was an embarrassment for CFB.

In recent memory this sure seems like the best choice. That team was simply not very good.

Went 8-5, was ranked most of the season.
Beat Florida State in bowl game.

Not great, but not terrible either.

Interesting troll angle here. I give it a 7/10 though. Really solid.

Also add Missouri 1997* though they weren't that terrible that year.

Two national titles for Colorado and Nebraska that should not have been.
