I can agree with that. In Columbia you are 3 hours away from nice places.

Georgia isn't bad. I was station at Ft.Stewart. Savannah, Tybee Island, Jacksonville and South Carolina was right there. All those was in drive distance.

And still, any shithole in the south beats the best of the Northeast and Midwest. There are some areas in the West that are nice.

Sea Island is about the same as Fairhope, but the East Coast beaches suck. Brunswick is a shite hole.
