Furman Bisher is on the Mount Rushmore for this list.

captdalton this is an area we agree on. Joseph Goodman is an idiot and after Al.com was purchased by that media group in New York they have become a liberal propaganda machine.

Goodman and Dan Wolken are good answers. As is Billy Liucci or whatever his name is for Aggy. But, for my money (and idk if he is considered an "SEC journalist" or not, but frick is he awful) as an Auburn fan it's Pat Forde. I know most LSU fans would join me in this since he has a similar hard-on for LSU as he does Auburn.
frick Pat Forde.
frick Pat Forde.

Someone enlighten me as to why/how Billy Liucci is wealthy. Certainly not from running his a+m fodder media stuff.

Forde has never cut Ole Miss any slack either.

Goodman isn't a journalist. He's a twat.

For LSU it's a tie between Matt Moscona and Glen Guilbeau

That Lonn fella seems to be in tune with the LSU program.

Lonn is an idiot who just throws out wild theories with the hope that one of his predictions might actually hit. I'm convinced he has no sauces at all. If he actually does have sauces, he needs to get some better ones.

AL.Commie is by far the worst place for sports news

Matt Jones Kentucky.
He's the one that made up a story about Cal asking for his job back after he told them he was leaving. Story was proven false but still multiple other fake KY news outlets hopped on to spread his lie

I don't blame the hometown reporters for doing this. If they predict the team will lose they get blasted by the fans, angry emails, demands for you to be fired, etc.
It's a no-win position, the best you can do is be a giant homer and keep the locals happy.

Also calling most of the "journalists" is pretty ridiculous. Writing a column about a team or recapping a game is, at best, analysis.

Most are entertainment writers who focus on sports, as opposed to movies, music, or something else, nothing more. There are some good ones who focus their stories on facts instead of trying to create clickbait, but those are getting much harder to find, at least without putting their content behind a paywall.
