You're a youngster. You weren't around for the early '90s trio of Chad Loup, Jesse Daigle and Sol Graves. Compared to those three guys, Jamie Howard was Brett fricking Favre.
I'm barely old enough to remember the name Pat Lyons, circa 1975-76, and I don't think he was very good. But let's put it this way: He lost his job as starting QB as a senior and threw just one pass.

For a post 2000 LSU QB I feel the only correct answer is Andrew Hatch. Literally no D-1 talent in him at all.

Lambert is the one that didn't have anyone. Get the frick out of here with that BS.
Lambert's offense ran for 5.15 yards per attempt and about 2500 yards on the season along with 22 touchdowns led by Chubb and Sony. AllSEC offense for Nick Chubb, Brandon Kublanow, John Theus, & Greg Pyke.
Cox's offense had 4.68 ypa for 2100 yards and 17 rushing tds and led by washaun ealey and Caleb king. AllSEC offense for AJ Green, Clint Boling, Ben Jones.
The good talent on the OL may be a push. But the bad talent on the OL... 2015 didn't have anyone as poor as Chris Davis. Not close. And with his injuries, AJ Green (2009) had fewer yards than Malcolm Mitchell (2015).

No idea how we won so many games with him.
He did knock Spurrier's dick in the dirt though. No one can ever take that away from him.

I think it was Mark Ferris who was supposed to be some stud dual sport baseball/football guy. He threw the ball into the ground countless times and I remember a play where he needed like a half a yard and chose to go out of bounds short. It was a critically needed first and he was just gutless.
I apologize if it’s not Ferris and I got the name right but that kid kissed me off whatever his name is. Just a straight up spineless jellyfish.
Mark Farris wasn't that bad of a quarterback. He was handicapped by Dino Babers' "Gulf Coast Offense".
This was the playseries under that offense:
1st Down: HB Dive for 1 yard
2nd Down: Screen Pass for a loss
3rd Down: Overthrow fade pattern
4th Down: Punt
In 2000, when Steve Kragthorpe was the offensive coordinator and Farris had Robert Ferguson, the offense literally set records.
In 2001, under Babers, we needed a late goal-line stand to beat Baylor at home, and Farris had inexplicable late game turnovers including a strip sack leading to a scoop and score against Colorado on what would have been the game tying drive, barely beat Wyoming in Laramie on a Thursday night, and lost 12-0 at Texas Tech.
In 2002, Farris was injured in the first game of the season and never really returned. Dustin Long took over and picked up the task of committing late game ending turnovers while setting records in the process.

I'm not a LSU fan and I'm only 28, but I've seen the Jamie Howard game. Jesus that was a horrific meltdown.

Even though I agree with you about Cox,Kublanow nor Pyke made the coaches 1st or 2nd team (post season)
And they shouldn't have.Pyke was especially a disappointment coming off a very solid 2014 season.

Brian Smith or Joe T for UGA.

‘04 Spencer Pennington says hello. DJ Hall & Keith Brown beat their corners deep in the ‘04 Iron Bowl plenty enough times to pull out the W and he couldn’t hit the broad side of a barn.
Pennington simply didn't have the arm to throw deep balls. He was almost serviceable on short and intermediate routes. Avalos couldn't hit anything, yet acted like he was the second coming of Doug Flutie.

Brad Strohm, Sol Graves and Marcus Randall were worse than Daigle, IMHO. But, the worst ever starting QB for LSU was an oldtimer: Billy Ezell. He was put into action as a starter in both 1963 and 1964 when Pat Screen, our stellar QB, went out w/ injurys.

The jury's out on him. He looked OK the little time he played at LSU and was out w/ injury mostly his only season, and looked great with FCS Harvard

Joe "alligator arms" Tereshitski is the only answer as far as QB's who started a substantive amount of games.
Worst to ever start a single game for Georgia is probably Bauta. That wasn't a quarterback, that was a white flag with a jersey and shoulder pads.

Yep, JJ definitely had his derp moments, but he also had moments that were really impressive.
Frazier would be my choice. Dude was so bad.
In our time, it has to be Frazier. Kodi Burns could also compete for that award.
