Auburn DL tipped the ball at the line of scrimmage therefor you can’t call pass interference.
The call was correct. Go back and watch the play. The spin on the ball changed after the top and the pass was then a “free for all”.

Marc Curles: 2009 Ark/FL game, call against Malcom Sheppard.

I know this is an SEC board, but you triggered me back to the NFCCG... I’m not sure I’ll ever get over that.

In hindsight I'd like the to say the kick six game. Yeldon should have been ruled inbounds when the clock expired, therefore a second should not have been put back on the clock. The game should have proceeded to overtime.

Pretty sure Missouri wins this thread.

Yea, the 5th down always wins this thread. We're playing for 2nd place here
I would give Missouri #1 (5th down) and #2 (Nebraska player kicking the ball in flight to himself for the tying touchdown to force overtime in 1997)

5th Down. Gave Colorado a share of the National Title.

I don't even remember that play to be honest.
I didn't remember it either, until I was scanning the highlights, looking for something to bitch about.
The Sternburger drop/fumble was bang-bang. Could have gone either way. Had it happened in the end zone, A&M fans would have been calling it a catch while LSU fans would be arguing no "football move".
A&M and LSU MUST be a rivalry. Our fans are exactly alike.
The call on greedy should have been D-holding, not PI. You have to watch the full clip to see it. As Rogers crosses the goal line on his way outward toward the sideline, Greedy grabs his arm and prevents him from turning on his route, before the ball is thrown. It was still a little ticky tack, but that play didn't matter because our o-lineman jumped early, so no conversion. Score remained tied.
That game was the closest it's been since 1995. Aggy to an early lead, and LSU answered. It went that way all game. Aggy score, LSU tied it up. It the 4th, LSU took the lead, then Aggy tied it up.
Was anyone really surprised it went to 7 OTs? It was happening all through regulation.

Worst is 1972 LSU getting off 3 plays in 4 seconds near the goal line to beat us. Blatant cheating.
The funniest was probably Alabama being given the first down against us in 2012 where the ref has his foot a a foot or two short, turns around looks as the chains, sets the ball down, moves the ball even closer to the chains, and calls first down without a measurement.

04 Alabama vs LSU
worst no call other than Penn St ref taking a TD off the board

I can still remember how mad I was after this. It was truly unbelievable that was allowed.

The fifth down is the obvious choice, but last year's PI call vs Kentucky made me think the SEC officials are truly corrupt. Then the "winning" TD was a clear shove off by Kentucky's receiver. The fifth down was just incompetence.

A lot of people were pissed about that no call. It really didn't bother me because the ball never was going to get to him anyways. I realize that the ball needs to be touched before the defender can impede the receiver from catching, but that I didn't think was overly egregious.

Easy...the Jasper Sanks "fumble" against Tech. Not only did they miss the fumble call, but they blew the play dead as the guy who picked up the fumble ran back into the end zone and was being tackled for what would have been a game winning safety.

know you said only 1 but I have an honorable mention. There were 2 huge missed calls in the kick 6 game. Bama got called for a phantom false start which put us out of FG range late in the game and Auburn had an OL 5 yards past the LOS on their game tying TD.

Surprised no LSU fans have mentioned the Devin White targeting.
I still think that cost yall the game

Pretty sure LSU got a stupid celebration call right after that too for something that wasn’t blatant at all
