Alabama has lost basically a whole recruiting class in the span of about 5 or 6 days. Deboer has to replace all those lost players someway. These will be players that will be a stopgap till next year when things settle down and Deboer can recruit more traditional SEC caliber players.

Yes it's almost identical right. Coaching at Boise State is just like coaching at UW. In fact, Boise is even better.

Today I learned that getting a few players from a team that made it to last season's NC game to fill some spots constitutes an "implosion."

Well at this point Deboer will just have to take what he can get out of the portal. Lane Kiffin has done signed about every player that decided to jump in after the season ended lol. Washington and Bama players are about all that’s left in the transfer portal.
