This is BS, everyone here continues to say Lane is going to fall on his face, but he did not fall on his face at Ole Miss.
People are saying that not because of his coaching ability. People are saying that because of his inability to act like a grown up.
That is what this whole thread is about and somehow you missed it.

LMK will put LSU back to the Saban years. LMK will put LSU in the National Championship talk every year he coaches for LSU in Death Valley....
Maybe he does. I'm sure Auburn fans thought if Freeze could beat Saban in back-to-back years at Ole Miss and have Ole Miss contending that he'd surely have Auburn back to where they should be. I mean, if Chizik can win one and Malzahn could get them to a championship, what would they be able to do with an offensive genius like Freeze.

He had them ranked every year for 6 years.
Ole Miss finished unranked in 2 of Kiffin’s 6 seasons at Ole Miss. He had two 5 loss seasons.

55 and 19 is an incredible record at OLE MISS.....Lets see what Ole Miss' record is for the next 6 years.

LSU took the worst Head Coach in Ole Miss history and won the playoffs.
Now we have the best coach in their history.
I think that’s a lot of the butt hurt. Lane rejected their advancement and didn’t see a future in the relationship. He went to greener pastures and has taken some of the players with him.
Ole Miss has this year to live off his legacy, maybe, then they have to stand on their own two feet.

I know for you retards that history only started in the year 2000 but the guy who for a decade won 5 SEC titles is the best coach in our history

We’re talking OM ,OM!!!! Who were totally irrelevant for 70 years with the exception of a couple of decent years. He turned chicken shite into chicken salad.Just like Nick turned Mich St. the same way.Average coaches aren’t able to do that,go look through history and see how many have failed.

What was the most successful 6 year run in Ole Miss history?
Are you claiming 65-70?
Remember what was so special about Ole Miss in 1971? Ben Williams and James Reed.

No need, the moving vans will be backing up to LSU soon enough.

He needed Ole Miss a lot more than Ole Miss needed him.

Nick Saban’s record at Michigan State:
6-5-1
6-6
7-5
6-6
9-2
If Kiffin’s first 3 seasons at LSU mirror Saban’s, LSU fans here will be screaming for Kiffin’s head. Kiffin likely would be fired after season three. The good news for LSU is they would likely have enough dirt on him to fire him for cause.
8-4
10-3
8-5

Is having the most talented roster he’s ever had and losing to Kentucky and Billy Napier not falling on his face?

He took Ole Miss to the playoffs. By any measure that is considered impressive. Even if you do not want to count him winning a game he still led you there.
Let's revisit this in 6 years and see if Ole Miss has the same level of success with any coach

That will be fun. It will also be interesting to see who is LSU’s coach and how he is doing putting out the fires and rebuilding the bridges from Kiffin’s tenure.

How is this false? You saying Pete took Ole Miss there? Lane was the coach leading up to the playoffs.
