Deep down, aTm fans know Alabama was a better team than them this year. They can talk about how they "dominated" the game, but the box score says otherwise. We outgained them in yards and outplayed them for three quarters. It just so happens that we played such a shite first quarter it wasn't quite enough to overcome that.
Funny thing is, Alabama tends to perform VERY well under Saban when revenge is on the line. Look at Iron Bowl 2008, SEC Championship 2009, Iron Bowl 2011 and BCS Championship 2012 - all blowouts. Wouldn't be surprised if Bama blows out A&M in September, either.

You Gumps sure are cute.
Even your losses become rationalized into "wins".
It's not enough to bring home the crystal football. You can't say "hey, y'all deserved to win that day. JFF shocked the world. I tip my houndstooth hat to you".
Nope, gotta rationalize the loss away and say it was really a win. "We were the better team, yada yada yada".
But keep it up. It will be an entertaining off season listening to y'all continue to rationalize away that loss that so obviously occupies a doublewide parking space in your cavernous cranium.

lolwut.
If it wasn't for a near interception ruled out of bounds for turnover #4 by our D, it would have been a two score win.
Your team was thoroughly beat, and your late game heroics from the crybaby doesn't change that.

What's also funny is the excuse that you played LSU the week before tired you guys out yet shouldn't that have made you guys played better when you realized your dream of a BCS title nearly ended in Death Valley?
Obvioulsy all the crying after the game took its toll.

Aggies,
Quit bickering with everybody about next season (unless you are trolling, in that case proceed). It's a long time from now, and we still don't know what our team will look like.
Alabama will be well prepared for this game. I don't expect a victory, but I will be pleasantly surprised and VERY HAPPY if we do. That will put us in the driver's seat to the SECCG, but don't let that excitement cloud your objectivity.
As I have said before, the key to beating A&M is managing JFF. It's really a simple formula and I am sure everybody has already figured it out. The only question is if it can be executed.
All Bama has to do is get into a defense that has 4 DLs playing contain on Johnny, fast LBs playing a duel role of spy and zone coverage underneath, and DBs playing man coverage. The DLs will press the pocket but not push around behind Johnny. Rushing at him will only open up running lanes and he is off on a 15-yard scramble.
The DBs in man coverage have to hold their coverage until the DL pushes the pocket to the point where Johnny is uncomfortable. When he starts to scramble, the DLs contain (see Sam Montgomery and crew at LSU). LBs covering in zone underneath stay with Johnny. If he breaks the pocket, they stay with him about 10 yards of the LOS in coverage so he can't throw a quick pass on the run. If the DLs lose contain and Johnny crosses the LOS the LBs come up to make the stop.
It's three layers of Johnny-proofing:
_________________________________________________________
....CB/SS.......................CB/FS...-----------------(Man Coverage)
CB.....................................CB...-----------------(Man Coverage)
...........LB......LB.....LB/R...........-----------------(Zone/Spy)
........DE.....DL.....DL.....DE.........----------------(Press rush with contain)
.....................JFF
_________________________________________________________
If Johnny scrambles right:
_________________________________________________________
....CB/SS.......................CB/FS...
CB.....................................CB...
...........LB......LB.....LB/R
........DE.....DL.....DL.....DE
...................................JFF-->
_________________________________________________________
the DL/DEs remain square with the LOS and shift over to contain while LBs shift zone coverage to right and middle of the field:
_________________________________________________________
....CB/SS.......................CB/FS...
CB.....................................CB...
......................LB......LB.....LB/R--->
.................DE.....DL.....DL.....DE---->
...................................JFF
_________________________________________________________
The underneath pass will either be batted down by the DLs or the LBs will prevent/intercept any on-the-run pass. When Johnny runs for it, the DL will at least slow him down enough for the LBs to break pass coverage and come up to make a play (that's why they have to be fast):
_________________________________________________________
....CB/SS.......................CB/FS...
CB.....................................CB...
............................LB...LB...LB/R.....
...................................JFF
.................DE.....DL.....DL.....DE.........
_________________________________________________________
THE MOST IMPORTANT PART:
This works ONLY IF the DBs can maintain man coverage for an extended period of time and only on pass plays. They can't expect help from the DL because doing so is what plays to Johnny's strength. This will test the DBs conditioning, and will probably require at least 6 or 7 rotating to stay fresh.
The play-action pass will create problems as well as the run game, but it is manageable for a good part of the game. Just pray that the offense has some success because A&M will score.
There's a whole lot more to it that what I just described, but this is the basic scheme. Alabama needs to practice this scheme during 2-a-days and use it against a weak OOC team before Sept 14. Bama probably wanted to use this scheme the last time, but they didn't have enough time to practice it and add little wrinkles, like disguised coverages and blitzes (yes you can blitz Johnny if you do it right).
So, YES...after all that bullshite above, the conclusion is that BAMA will be ready for Johnny and the Aggies on Sept. 14. Their only concern is conditioning, depth, and execution. We've got to figure out how to stop their offense. I am very concerned. Did you see the yards OU was able to pile up through the air?

Again, Sumlin and JFF scored 9 points the last 3 quarters combined. Nine. Saban figured it out pretty quickly, actually--we just had too deep a hole to dig out of, and our OC forgot we had an NFL OL and RB's when we got down to the 5 in the closing minutes. None of that happens again this year. It could be ugly for the Aggies.

This is why I think it doesn't matter how long Saban has. He already knows what to do. It's all a matter of execution.

His history and record in big games when he has alot of time to prepare suggests that it is in fact, a huge advantage for him and Alabama. We shall see. I'll take straight up bets from any of you Aggies who wish to part ways with some of your cash.

I agree, he already knows what gameplan will work or give us the best chance to stop that badass offense. Nobody will be sleeping on the Aggies this year and who knows, maybe the Aggies will win the west next year. I think Bama will out talent them and be able to limit the big plays from Johnny.
Bama has the best chance to win the west again next year but A&M and LSU will certainly have a say so about that. LSU loses a lot of talent but they are just gonna reload and replace studs with other studs. Good luck.
