Wish they would quit these silly dugout interviews.

Trying to watch Georgia-Texas and getting aggravated. Everything is such an overproduction now.
Thinking back, it seems ESPN started doing the dugout interviews about 7-8 years ago. Yet most of their questions are usually nonsensical fluff that add zero value to the game. Just f-ing play baseball!!

The coaches don't want to be bothered by these stupid arse reporters. It's so stupid.

It makes me so mad watching it. I can’t imagine how it must aggravate the coaches and players

Agree, but at least they have halfway improved things this year. When I saw Taylor McGregor I thought they had finally wised up and realized dugout/sideline reporters should be attractive, unlike Dani Wexler in years past. Then I saw game two and they still had Kris Budden... ugh

I've been wondering what happened to Michella Chester. She always had good pre-game and post-game interviews with the players. She also had a great smile and real joy in the fundamentals of the game. She was absent from last year's CWS and from this year's. Did she get married, have children or move on to something else?

It's an unnecessary distraction when the coaches need to have their eyes on the field and their heads in the game. And you can tell by their mannerisms, they're grudgingly putting up with it.

The only reason the coaches play along is because they send a cute lady to do the interview. If a man was asking the question, you'd get a lot of short, curt responses.

They are more American than ball players giving interviews mid game literally right from their position on the field.

While the dugout interviews are bad, when they interviewed the guy in the crowd from the 1955 Wake Forest CWS team they hit an all time low. I'm not sure that guy knew what planet he was on and that lady just kept going.

Skip just stood there when the interview was over yesterday. She must have smelled good

They’re trying to make baseball more entertaining. I wouldn’t tune in without the silly interviews!

I do enjoy them though during the season when they are done over headphones. They are more relaxed, last longer and usually cover some interesting things. The coaches don't seem to mind at all.

Could you imagine being sent to do a dugout interview with Lou Pinella?

I don't like the dugout interviews at all, whether done on headphones or in person. They are distracting and add nothing to the game.

Same with the halftime interviews. No coach wants to talk to the dumb arse reporter. They want to get to the locker room and yell at their team.

We need more Bear Bryants.

absolute trainwreck. the guy kept listing his old buddies and talking about how they're all dead. felt like listening to a dude in hospice about to go.
