UT needs to find an OC if they’re going to do better

LSU caught a few lucky breaks? When? Where? Losing to A&M is 7 overtimes? We handled Miami, Miss St, and Georgia. Got handled by Bama and Florida beat us in a close game. You can argue we got lucky against Auburn but you said a couple lucky breaks. Where’s the other one? Ole Miss? We destroyed them.

Good luck “holding serve” against Alabama.

Disagree. We have solid depth at every position, the only place that worries me next year is the secondary. Everything else should be about even or an upgrade, aside from losing josh Allen. Luckily we have guys ready to strip up. I think we should have another 9-10 win season next year

State is the only team I care to address: they will have a similar record but it will be a bit different.
The offense will be smoother and more effiecient. That defense will still be nasty but it will miss some playmakers.
A full year in the system, bowl prep, a spring practice and a fall camp will make them better. Last year Fitz only had a fall camp. A QB that actually knows what to do which will translate to the ball snapped on time and fewer false starts. That’s not a knock on Fitz, he was afforded no time to learn it. I would have loved to have seen him after a couple years in this offense.

No no ...lol UGA is incredibly young on the 2 deep....we should actually be much improved...next year and 2020 could be the best UGA teams we have ever fielded...we aren’t losing many individuals at all this year

If we are not better than 2-10 Chad can walk his arse back to Texas while I drive beside him screaming obscenities.

@Wyoming Win (who the frick makes a Home and Home with Wyoming?)
WVU Loss
Southeast Missouri Win
South Carolina Loss
Troy Win
Ole Miss Win
at Vandy Win
at Kentucky Win
at Georgia Loss
Florida Loss
Tennessee Loss
at Arkansas Win
7-5 Toss ups South Carolina, Kentucky, and Tennessee. I guess 8 wins may happen.

State will be about the same. Our offense should be better in year 2. The defense might take a step back but not a great step.

quote:
Clemson graduates their entire defensive line and their secondary isn't that great. Not only that, but if Trevor Lawrence played the entire A&M game, the Aggies would have won by 2 touchdowns.
I expect a tough game against A&M next year... think they are on the up and up.
I hate to break it to you, but Clemson will basically be as good at DE and LB. We are loaded at DE behind the two seniors with guys like Xavier Thomas and a slew of young talent. DT will be solid, but not as good as this year. Not saying our D will be as good next year, but should still be a Top 20 unit.
On offense, look for this team to be filthy. At WR this may be the best WR Clemson unit we have ever had come through here. I am talking about as good or better than the 2012 team where we had Nuk Hopkins, Sammy Watkins, Martavis Bryant, Adam Humpries, Jaron Brown and Charone Peake... All guys that made it in the NFL. Etienne will be an elite back coming into his final year as a junior. And we have Sunshine back there with actual experience under his belt, throwing lasers all over the field.
Expect a Big 12 type of score for our game next year. Looking forward to it...

Ole Miss is going 2-10 next year, so worse.

Bama: Same - Will be a rolling ball of butcher knives, just like this year.
Georgia: Better - Experienced QB and better on D. Will challenge Bama.
LSU: Better - Lots of talent all over the field with an experienced QB. Will also challenge Bama.
Auburn: Worse - Too many losses on the DL and new QB. OL will be improved. Their rivals in the West and UGA are all getting better. How many losses and threats of Malzahn being fired before players lose motivation?
Florida: Same - Slight improvement, but still a talent gap with other top programs.
Miss State: Worse - Replacing too many DL studs and rest of the division will be as good or better.
Texas A&M: Better - Lots of experienced talent and they have their QB. West will be a grinder next year with three top 10 teams in Bama, LSU and A&M.
Missouri: Same
Kentucky: Worse
South Carolina: Same
Vanderbilt: Worse
Tennessee: Better
Ole Miss: Worse
Arkansas: Same

Better, undoubtedly. We were 70% frosh & sophomore on the 2 deep this year.
