LSU gets errybody back. Potentially 18 starters back and a MUCH easier schedule. Plus a LOT of motivation after blowing two games this year.

You have
Brumfield
Moreau
Brossette
Battle are all seniors and I would be shocked if Devin White comes back. I also wouldn't be surprised to see Rashard Lawrence leave and maybe Divinity?

You won't have 18 returning. I mean, you will have another very good team, and might be better, but you won't return 18 starters.

And still no NC.. The delusion is strong with that bunch

Well, you think Auburn is still a team to be feared, so who do you think is delusional?

I guess that is a point.

Sheesh. just a cursory look at their depth chart tells them they don't return 18.

I mean, I have no doubt they will be good, but some of the off the wall comments makes me wonder if they follow their own team very closely.

I'd be willing to bet that Auburn has some lean years ahead of them.

Brumfield was a part time starter and injured much of the year , and the offensive line tended to be worse when he started. Hines and others will likely be an upgrade. I counted Moreau- great kid, great teammate hardly a difference maker on offense. Many people here think we have two potentially better on the roster now in Moss and Pettigrew. Not that TE means anything at LSU. Same with Brosette- he’s EASILY the least talented “ starter “ LSU has had at RB in 15 -20 years. I love the kid but Emery/ Davis Helaire Edwards Fournette et al will be better day one.

Every other OL and WR comes back and all should be improved with another year in the system.

As for defense we lose Greedy and White . Both are outstanding players. Battle is a part time starter. Rashard would be foolish to leave as he’d be a likely 5th- 7the rounder and you are the first person I have heard suggest Divinity would go pro. Plus we get Chiasson ( a lost starter and a difference maker edge rusher ) back.

We lose our tight end , a GREAT corner and a GREAT linebacker and some part time starters where we likely upgrade in 2019. If we can get Stingley /Vincent/ Joseph to step in next year we should be ok. It sets up nicely, especially factoring in the normal improvement you usually see at QB in year two. Our offense should be hugely improved even if we take a step back on defense.
