Same - Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Texas A&M, Florida, South Carolina

I just don't see any of these team improving upon what were good seasons by their own standards.

Better - Arkansas, Auburn, Tennessee

Nowhere to go but up for each of these schools

Worse - Ole Miss, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Kentucky, MSU

Losing your QB hurts tremendously and UK's defensive departures will be too much.

So you know for sure Missouri will not have a quarterback ready for next year? The quarterback does not have to be Drew Lock type but good enough to win 8 or more games next year. Look at the schedule!

LSU gets errybody back. Potentially 18 starters back and a MUCH easier schedule. Plus a LOT of motivation after blowing two games this year.

History and common sense says Bama will go either 12-0 or 11-1 in the regular season next year because that's pretty much what Saban does every year.

@A&M
LSU
@MSU
@Auburn

look to be the main candidates for potential speed bumps.

No chance of 18 starters back. 3-4 will go pro, 2-3 will get arrested/kicked off team.

I didn't look at your schedule and for some reason I thought Burrow was a Senior. Schedule does look easier and assuming most of those 18 return and Aranda doesn't get poached I could see LSU doing the same or better. I just went with my gut and I felt LSU outperformed expectations for the season, at least most of it, and caught a few lucky breaks.

Aggies have a brutal schedule next year. @Clemson and @Georgia along with the normal SECW roundup including @LSU, where I think they may have a bit of revenge on their mind. The good news is Nick Fitzgerald graduates, so they may flip MSU to a win. I think another 8-4 is reasonable but probably optimistic. Losses to Clemson, Georgia, Alabama. 9-3 isn't out of the question but that requires very good games against @LSU and MSU, USC at home.

LSU will have a better team and a more favorable schedule.

Our SEC schedule

@Vandy, @State, @OMiss, @ Bama

Florida, Auburn, Arkansas, A&M.

I see us 7-1 in the SEC. If we can beat Texas in Austin, we should be 11-1.

I'll not be so assumptive as to predict anyone else's results for next year. Don't know enough about other's schedules or returning talent.

I do believe SC will do better.

Tougher schedule but more balanced. We return some playmakers on both sides of the ball. We'll have more depth, talented depth, and fewer injuries hopefully.

Win this bowl game and this year will prove to be a turning point for us. These kids fought through some crazy stuff this season and they stayed together, stuck it out, continued to work hard and never gave up. They play with a lot of energy and enthusiasm. I like the direction we appear to be headed.

That's just mho.

This thread title is the worst, much worse than the others.

I expect Kentucky to do worse on defense but there's nowhere to go but up for the offense.

Not sure honestly.

A&M should be able to beat Arkansas, South Carolina, Auburn, Mississippi State, Ole Miss and the 3 cupcakes.

If the Aggies can win one of their three tough road games and somehow hold serve at home against Alabama, that's 10-2, possibly even 7-1 in conference.

Clemson graduates their entire defensive line and their secondary isn't that great. Not only that, but if Trevor Lawrence played the entire A&M game, the Aggies would have won by 2 touchdowns.

Mark my words.....LSU will peak under Coach O next year. 1 or 2 losses at the most. We might even have a few surprises.

But I see Aranda and/or a few other assistants leaving after that, recruiting will start to tank, and offense won't improve. Add to that Burrow will be gone.

I don't want it to be that way. But Coach O doesn't have that killer instinct in coaching. In recruiting, yes. But to completely whoop teams, no.

The only one I know much about is Alabama. Should be the same 12-0. Bama's had 4 perfect regular seasons under Saban.

Bama has 2 Sr starters on D and 3 on offense.

The following 12 are all freshman or soph starters: Wills, Leatherwood, Brown, Ruggs, Jeudy, D. Smith, Tua, N. Harris, Q. Williams, Moses, Surtain, McKinney. There is also Waddle, Ray and Mathis.

Jennings is a Jr who likely will return, Wilson should. There is sometimes a surprise or 2 who might not go. J. Williams, Q. Williams and Thompson will almost surely go, as will Davis.
