Oh no, we didn’t cover. Anyways, 3-0 and a decent win against a 2023 tournament team that won 30 games.

We couldn’t score a damn FG for 9 minutes in the second half. I’m leaning towards that’s a fluke. But luckily for all of us, that will be answered on Friday against Purdue. We have the talent, what will Nate do to get us ready?

Oh we did beat that arse in Baton Rouge wish we didn’t give the corn dogs the satisfaction of their ex-basketball coach from years ago keeping it close in the 3rd game of the year though

Bama has ball security issues they need to rectify before they’re into the meat of the schedule. Those can be fixed.

It's been a while since we've been able to overcome these things man. I almost don't expect that to ever change.

C'mon, you can do better than a sixteen seed.

Philon going to take most of his minutes. Philon got that dog in him, Aiden apparently does not.

Aiden Holloway is a role player this year with a chance to develop in Nate Oats system.

Sears
Wrightsell
Youngblood
Philon

Holloway

Holloway will likely get 3rd PG/3rd SG minutes with the occasional game when he gets hot and gets more minutes. And that is okay. Sears, Wrightsell and Youngblood likely gone next year and Holloway will get a chance to step up after a year of development.

I guess my expectations were too high when Auburn signed him.

He had flashes, but in the end, Aiden did not learn to finish against size or shoot the ball from distance at a great percentage.

Maybe Coach Oats can bring him along this year and develop him for a bigger role next year. CBP gave him the basketball from day one and Aiden just did not consistently play like a dog or a warrior. He truly struggled with the size and physicality of the transition from HS to college. Many small guards probably do. IF he pays attention, Aiden has a hard core warrior dog to learn the game from in Sears. If not, AH will transfer again.
