BTW, this never gets to open court as a guilty plea will likely happen. This is just another volley of prosecutorial leverage against the accused (sports agents) to secure a plea. Which is what The Feds always want in these cases. Wade is a witness, and the Feds have dozens of them ready to go, and who will be compelled to appear.

Also, these two coaches are just the tip of the iceberg. They have a lot bigger fish than that. These guys were wiretapped talking to probably dozens of coaches. Anybody who was talking to these guys (almost every coach) is vulnerable.

Now , as to whether or not this triggers an NCAA Investigation-sure, I would assume so. I would assume any lawyer worth his salt could handle allegations without a money trail pretty simply. What "pie" ? Can you prove it? Where is it? Show me. If they can find a money trail, LSU is screwed. If not, nothing to see here.

In the meantime, all LSU haters can pre-ejaculate accordingly.

believe there are recruiting violations being committed at LSU, and probably every school with top flight recruiting classes. What I'd be worried about as an LSU fan is that the NCAA will try to save face in this whole fiasco by trying to hammer Wade and LSU while ignoring the established Blue Bloods. This is not going to be a "burn it to the ground" scenario for college basketball. The NCAA will pick their spots, and what better look for them than nabbing the young guy, two years and only one full recruiting class into a gigantic program turnaround to show how efficient and serious they are about the matter

and if they attempt that they will be hammered with a lawsuit from hell from LSU that would expose the level of corruption that is within the NCAA itself, something they do not want...

A little surprising they had to pay big $ to a BR kid though.

Probably why he sounded so pissed

Please show us where, in the NCAA laws, it states that they have to find or prove anything. A panel of NCAA members decides the fate, not a judge and jury

This is more hard evidence than the entire Cam Newton fiasco uncovered. Unreal.

That shite seems real vague to me. No number discussed, no name of the player. They can be inferred to mean several things. Just like the first wire tap, this one will be thrown out due to lack of relevance as well. As will Wade and Miller’s testimonies.

Wade handing out cash could be released on video and these LSU fans would still deny it. "Nope nothing will happen. Nothing at all".

Those are totally different situations. UNC was offering those classes to players and students. That is what saved them from anything serious.

Yes! There it is

Let's sue the NCAA, which LSU willingly belongs to by the way

You really think if they had not come out lawyered up ready for a fight, something the NCAA really does not want to do, the NCAA would have let them go the same...

You act like that statement is a "gotcha" of some kind when you know as well as I do that they have to identify what the pie was and then see a transfer of said pie from LSU to recruit. Sloppy or unspecific incriminating verbiage has NEVER been enough for NCAA sanctions.

Piece of the pie = ?

I think it means playing time.

That’s just speculation though, as is anything else.
The problem with all that shite, lil Billie, is the NCAA isn't the U.S. legal system. They ARE the judge and jury!

I don’t really care ! I’ve watched coach Cal and coach k’s Jeff chapel, Roy Williams and before my time John wooden either cheat or have people cheating for them. The ncaa is a joke. Collin Sexton got paid nobody cares if your a blue blood or it doesn’t amount to winning.
