Why do you think Richt passed on DESHAUN WATSON and opted for Jacob Park? Seems weird to me.

Having black players at other positions isn't the same. The QB is the one in command of all of the other players.

I have it on good authority that Mark Richt told David Duke that he would never make the Shockley "mistake" again.

Are you insinuating that Richt might be racist?

Nothing that I wrote insinuated that in any fricking way at all.

And I'm no fan of Mark Richt or his incessant "I'm such a great Christian!" self-promotion, but NOTHING in his life even *hints* that he's a racist.

WTF dude?

Why did Shockler not start until his senior year? Richt had no option at that point, lest he lose the support of his team.

He didn't pass on Deshaun Watson dumbass. We offered and recruited Watson BEFORE Park, but Watson wanted to play for Morris at Clemson. We just didn't get him. At least know some of the facts before you spew mindless drivel.

Richt has had a black starting QB. We won the SEC with DJ Shockley. Richt has recruited several others. You're just making baseless accusations.

Think how much more profitable it would be if you guys ever won something.

First, again objectively, Richt has won 2 SEC championships during his tenure, 2002 and 2005 if I remember correctly so it's not like he's never won anything. I would add that we came very close to making to the NC game vs an obviously weak Notre Dame team in 2012. Granted close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.

However, you raise a valid point. We really don't know if our AD would be more profitable if we invested more and won a NC. But when you already have one of the most profitable college athletic departments, it easy to understand how from a business perspective that you would see no need to change your business model. By any objective measure it would seem we have a pretty sharp group of admins who have found an optimal balance between investment and return on investment.

Because David Greene was busy becoming the winningest QB in NCAA history at the time, and Shockley still played a good bit.

Just STFU

I know, right? You think it is a a coincidence that their fanbase loves Pollack but doesn't even acknowledge Charles Grant, Kedric Golston, and Jonathan Sullivan?

That's how you're told it played out. Why do so many black Georgia players opt for other teams? Georgia only landed three of the top thirteen Georgia players. Maybe they know something that we don't?

Are you seriously comparing these 3 to a 3 time All American. How stupid are you???

It is sarcasm designed to pick out the most stupid of the Georgia contingent. You sadly won the distinction. Check out my post at the top of this page to see how easy it was to determine satire. I'm saddened that you're that slow.

Will UGA Finish the 4-Team College Football Playoff Era With 0 National Titles?
Discuss.

I don't think the 4+1 format will last more than three years so the odds aren't looking good for anybody.
I would put UGA odds somewhere up around 9.5-1

Auburn 8.7-1

Alabama 5.4-1

South Carolina 34.5-1

UGA fans, stop getting trolled. No matter what facts you bring to our case it's not going to matter to them

If I was trolling, then I'd be making attacks and wouldn't bother speaking formally or typing paragraphs. Perhaps I'd resort to attacks against UGA or its supporters here, but I haven't. I asked a legitimate question. Question my intent all you want, but this topic can be discussed seriously.

Coming from an AU fan.

Need I remind you the only reason you had a shot at SEC title and BCS title was because of Bama's shitty arse Special Teams. Get real.

I wouldn't mention 2007 if I were a Georgia fan. You got blown out by an average Tennessee team, and it's not too often than 2-loss teams compete for the national championship.
Well, I mean the national champion had two losses to unranked teams. 2007 was a weird year in general. Too bad you "had to win your division" in 2007

I have no comment regarding 2002 Georgia, for I'd have to do research. What do you think of 2002 Georgia's odds against 2002 Miami?

Our closest year, and you don't know shite about it.

Thank goodness Georgia didn't make it there in 2012. Let me preface my argument by drawing attention to my team logo. Do you think I have a bias for my school's greatest rivals? Now, I said "thank goodness" because 2012 Alabama objectively was the better team on paper and by the eye test. The biggest reason Georgia was in the game late was because of a Special Teams touchdown. Yes, Special Teams are a part of the game, but it's the offense's job first and foremost to score points. Alabama's offense scored 32; Georgia's offense scored 21. Alabama had 100+ more yards than Georgia. Both teams left points on the field, but in the end, the better team prevailed.

Furthermore, when's the last time a national championship participant suffered a blowout loss then won the national championship?

2012? Wouldn't have mattered, if Alabama beat ND that bad, Im sure many other teams also would have.

2007? The national champion lost to Kentucky....KENTUCKY!!

Stop posting, your knowledge of college football is embarrasing Auburn fans.
