Dafuq? where does UGA rank in the SEC in football graduation rate?

Higher than Bama
UGA is ranked 3rd in the SEC in academics and has been climbing every year. Not that any of this matters to us football fans but our academics always take a front seat to the conglomerate that is football. Right now we should be in an arms race to add an indoor practice facility and yet we don't have one. That being said, our team is still able to compete year in and year out in the hardest division in the land. It's good to be a Dawg.

I think what he is referring to is the university's level of commitment to the football program, not whether or not our football players are more educated.

The best part about it is Bob Stoops came out and said the SEC was overated as FK and then went out and backed it up.
Oh and I am sure they smell like rosemary.

Can we stop with the academic superiority argument with regard to the football program? We sound like Techies
Eta- I agree with the second half of your post

That's what a GT fan would say.

Wouldn't you say that your odds would be increased? The order will be shaken up when Saban is gone, and Georgia could realistically be one of the Top 2 programs in the conference then. Furthermore, the balance of power will eventually even out or shift back to the SEC East.

2010 was all about Cam Newton and Malzahn. That much is obvious. Chiz was just smart enough to stay the frick out of the way. Once Malzahn and Newton left, the wheels fell off.
Malzahn comes back...back to the BCSNCG.

OK, how about this? If AU can strike gold and win a NC, so can UGA.

that phrase doesn't make any sense in the context that you used it.

Everyone knows it takes a little luck to win a NC and Auburn was one of the luckiest I've seen last year to even make it to the game. Richt's been probably the unluckiest mf'er on the block when it comes to needing a break to go his way.
And don't give me this BS about making you're own luck. Sometimes that shite just falls in your lap.

Yall act like Richt is some shithead who has never even come close. We've come extremely close, multiple times.
Thank goodness Georgia didn't make it there in 2012. Let me preface my argument by drawing attention to my team logo. Do you think I have a bias for my school's greatest rivals? Now, I said "thank goodness" because 2012 Alabama objectively was the better team on paper and by the eye test. The biggest reason Georgia was in the game late was because of a Special Teams touchdown. Yes, Special Teams are a part of the game, but it's the offense's job first and foremost to score points. Alabama's offense scored 32; Georgia's offense scored 21. Alabama had 100+ more yards than Georgia. Both teams left points on the field, but in the end, the better team prevailed.
Furthermore, when's the last time a national championship participant suffered a blowout loss then won the national championship?
I wouldn't mention 2007 if I were a Georgia fan. You got blown out by an average Tennessee team, and it's not too often than 2-loss teams compete for the national championship.
I have no comment regarding 2002 Georgia, for I'd have to do research. What do you think of 2002 Georgia's odds against 2002 Miami?
